Coach Bios

Stephen Short: Coach Short is beginning his first season as head coach at Camas. Previously he served as head coach at Woodland HS (2013-2014) and Hockinson HS (2010-2012; Var. Asst. 2006-2009). Since 2009 he has coached the Vancouver Cardinals summer program. Coach Short played collegiately at Con- cordia U., Central WA U., and Chemeketa CC as a middle infielder and pitcher. He played varsity baseball, and football at Mountain View HS where he graduated in 1999.

Jack Hathaway: C.H.S. was where Coach Hathaway's coaching career started. He was the head JV coach in 2005-2006. Most recently he has spent time at Evergreen H.S. (2009-2011) and Heritage H.S. (2012-2014 as a varsity assistant and pitching coordinator. In college coach Hathaway played baseball and football at Huron University (2000-2002) and Eastern Oregon University (2002-2005). Coach Jack Hatha- way graduated from Mountain View H.S. in 2000 where he played varsity baseball, basketball and football.

Stephen Baranowski: Is a Camas alumnus and was part of the first Camas baseball team to play in the state tournament in 2006. He went on to pitch at Whitworth University in Spokane. After college Stephen coached as a Graduate Assistant at Concordia U., as well as coaching in the NCBL Portland collegiate league. Recently he has been CHS Freshmen Head Coach, JV Assistant, and Varsity Assistant Coach.

Jesse Parbon: Coach Parbon will be entering his 10th season on staff as a baseball coach at Camas while also having coached for 11 years at Skyridge M.S. Previous to coaching, Coach Parbon played football at Whitworth College. In high school, he competed in baseball and football at Aberdeen H.S.

Zak Webb: Coach Webb played high school ball at Kittitas H.S., in Kittitas, WA. He then played one year of college ball at Linfield College in McMinnville, OR. Coach Webb has coached at Kittitas H.S. for three years, Aldine H.S. in Houston, TX for 2 years, and joined Camas H.S. last year.

Tim Moore: Coach Moore is entering his 10th year as a coach at the high school level. He has coached at Brea H.S. (Brea, CA), Northview H.S. (Covina, CA) and Columbia River H.S. This will be his first season at Camas. Coach Moore graduated from La Habra H.S. (La Habra, CA) in 1989 where he was selected in the 12th round by the Chicago Cubs. He spent four years playing professionally as middle infielder and third basemen.

Eric Jones: Coach Jones played three years as a catcher in college at Walla Walla and Orange Coast CC (Coasta Mesa, CA). He then went to go play professionally for four years in the Central, Arizona Mexican League, and Frontier League Independent leagues. Coach Jones has served as a volunteer for the Camas Baseball program, and Hunter Baseball during the summer. He is currently doing personal instruction for all ages of both baseball and players.
