Cootehill Library Supporting Cootehill

Arts Festival! T he life and work of writer and poet Dermot Healy will be celebrated during Cootehill Arts Festival. Cootehill Library in collaboration with Cootehill Arts Festival calls on young people to get creative with their 'Illustrate a Poem Competition' for 8-12 yr olds and 13-17 yr olds. Closing date is August 10 2018, and entry forms are available at www.cavanlibrary.ie, or at the library desk!

Bailieborough Library Supporting Bailieborough Midsummer Festival.

‘A Lonely Girl in Bailieborough’ – who is the girl in the photograph of Bailieborough Giant’s Grave. Where did she come from, why is she there? Acclaimed poet and artist, Heather Brett, will facilitate a poetry and art workshop based around the mysterious photograph at Bailieborough Library Saturday July 21 at 2.30pm-4.30pm Children aged 9-12 years. The workshop is FREE, but booking is essential at 0429665779.
