Kevin has been heard at the organ in numerous venues including Symphony Hall (Boston), Old South Church, Emmanuel Church, Old West Church, and Methuen Memorial Music Hall. The music begins in 17th century France and culminates in 20th century America. Stylistically, it travels from Baroque to Contemporary. It's a study in contrasts and commonalities, but most importantly, a joyous musical adventure. Midnight Mass for Christmas Messe de Minuit pour Noël (Midnight Mass for Christmas) is enchanting, joyous, intimate … a series of “folksongs” transformed into a single, seamless Catholic mass by a sophisticated French Baroque composer, Marc-Antoine Charpentier (1645?-1704). Charpentier’s Italian-inspired musical preferences weren’t fully appreciated in France until the late 1670s. While he was studying in Italy in the 1660s with Giacomo Carissimi (1605-1674), Jean-Baptiste Lully (1632-1687) was winning the favor of Louis XIV and collaborating with Molière. By 1679, however, Charpentier had attracted the support of the Dauphin, Louis XIV’s heir, and occasionally was a collaborator with Molière himself. By the 1690s, Charpentier had become the Master of Music in the principal Jesuit church in Paris, Saint Paul-Saint Louis. It was at this time that he composed Messe de Minuit pour Noël to be sung at midnight Christmas services. Based on “noëls” (Christmas carols) that would have been familiar to most people in 17th century France, the music is joyful and melodic with a French Baroque musical palette. Charpentier weaves eleven “noëls” into a lyrical, harmonious Italian-influenced composition. Though others at the time had used similar musical sources, his Messe de Minuit pour Noël has become “the most often performed Mass setting by any French Baroque composer.”1 Additionally, though he composed thirty-five oratorios, eleven settings of the Mass, over two hundred motets, and the well- known Te Deum, only recently has there been revived interest in Charpentier’s work and a reconsideration of his importance in French music.2 1 http://www.cascadianchorale.org/programs/0812%20Noel%20-%20A%20French%20Christmas.pdf 2 http://www.greenwichchoralsociety.org/concerts-events/concerts-program-notes Northern Lights Northern Lights by Norwegian composer and pianist Ola Gjeilo (1978 - ) was commissioned by and dedicated to the Central Bucks High School-West Chamber Choir, Dr. Joseph Ohrt, conductor, with support from the Royal

Research subjects are audiences who have participated in the Mayday concerts. Mall-intercepts method with intentional sampling is used and questionnaires were distributed at the “Super Slippa– part 9” and “The Great Nobody” of 831 rock band in 2018 at the Taipei Arena. 422 valid questionnaires were returned from the 469 distributed. Data were analyzed using the statistical software SPSS19.0 and it was found that: 1. Experience value has a significant positive impact on celebrity endorsements; 2. Experience value has a significant positive impact on brand resonance. 3. Celebrity endorsements have a significant positive impact on brand resonance; 4. Celebrity endorsements have a partial intermediary effect between experience value and brand resonance, which proves that P-O-X is in a balanced state.

  • Friday, May 15, 2020 the University of Arizona
FRIDAY, MAY 15, 2020 THE UNIVERSITY OF ARIZONA It was in 1885 that the Thirteenth Territorial Legislature founded the University of Arizona with an appropriation of $25,000 — but no land. This appropriation was not welcomed by many residents of Tucson and Pima County, as they were looking for either the state Capitol building, a prison, or even an asylum for the insane — but definitely not a university. The money would be available on the condition that the community provided a suitable site. Just before the $25,000 was to be returned to the Legislature, two gamblers and a saloon-keeper donated 40 acres of land “way out east of town,” and thus the University could become a reality. Classes began in 1891 with 32 students and six teachers, all accommodated in one building. The first class graduated in 1895, when three students received their degrees. Today, the University of Arizona is one of the nation's top public universities, according to U.S. News & World Report. It has grown to more than 45,000 students and 15,000 faculty and staff members across the University, which includes the main campus, the College of Applied Science & Technology in Sierra Vista, the College of Medicine – Phoenix and Arizona Online. The University is organized into 21 colleges and 23 schools. It is one of the top 10 employers in Arizona, with an economic impact of more than $1 billion in fiscal year 2017 as a result of the University’s research expenditures. 156th Annual Arizona COMMENCEMENT Table of Contents STREAMED PROGRAM · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · ·

Their success overshadows other existing bands in many ways. Undoubtedly, Mayday plays an essential role in Taiwan’s music industry. The current paper intends to review the development of Mayday and to explore the factors in its success. We adopted literature review analysis to compile the latest information of all five band members, namely, Monster, Ashin, Matthew, Richard, and Ming. In addition, after reviewing the history of Mayday, we divided their development into four stages and illustrated them one by one. Finally, after digesting all the sources of information that we gathered, we also presented the top seven factors in Mayday’s success both in Taiwan and abroad. Keywords: Mayday, band, pop music I. Introduction I.1 Background Music has been an indispensable part of many people’s daily life. Wherever you go, plenty of people can usually be seen wearing headphones listening to a variety of music. Taiwan, our homeland, is no exception. Among all the music genres, group music is an essential part in the music industry. However, there are a great number of groups that encounter obstacles and due to some reasons, could hardly be fully developed. Some group members might want to terminate their partnership with the group and go their own ways to further build up their own career as individual performers or totally turn to different works of life.
