This letter serves, as Notice of Off-Site Shipment, pursuant to Section V. 5. ofthe Administrative Order on Consent. Attached please find copies of two Special Waste Permits issued to General Electric Company. In order to facillitate your review, the following information is provided:

Type and Quantity of Waste Material to be Shipped:

The Twin Bridges facility will receive approximately 1000 Cubic Yards of soil, and asphalt exhibiting Polychlorinated Biphenyl (PCB) in concentrations less than fifty milligrams per kilogram. Bartman et al September 28, 1995 Page two

The Model City facility will receive material exhibiting PCB concentrations greater than fifty milligrams per kilogram.

Expected Schedule for Shipment of Waste Material

Waste Shipments are planned to begin during the week of October 9.

non hazardous, <50ppm PCB contaminated soils and debris from the Dixie Auto Salvage Site in Danville, Illinois.

These wastes may be disposed at any sanitary landfill specified under 329 lAC 2-21-3 as an acceptable site for the disposal of waste which is certified as a special waste. A list of acceptable disposal sites is available from the Soiid Waste Permit Section at the above address or by calling 317/232-4473. General and Special Conditions that apply to this certification are indicated on the reverse side.

This certification shall expire exactly 5 years from the effective signature date below.
