1.Introduction of SISA

The university main campus is, located in central of , with historic origin that was once a part of the Dusit Palace, the Royal compound of the King Rama V. Long before , it served as a Royal Garden and the residential compound for his visits with his allies and named it “Suan Sunandha”. Suan Sunandha International School of Art was established in Phutthamonthon District , Nakhon Pathom Thailand. The educational system aims to create film , animation, computer graphic , design , mobile developer and digital marketing to provide labor markets and services on academics to the society. 2.Why study at Suan Sunandha International School of Art? SISA focuses on each student’s artistic creativity to inspire the process of film production or digital content that reflects individual uniqueness. 6.Admission Requirements Students must satisfy the following general entrance requirements prior to being admitted to the Suan Sunandha International School of Art , Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University and students admission is based on the student’s personal and academic records , portfolio , achievement . At the time of admissions , the student must. 1.Have Successfully completed their upper secondary education in Thailand (M.6 Certificate or Grade 12 ) or have equivalent academic qualifications from abroad that are recognized by the Ministry of Education , Thailand. 2.Possess a minimum grade point average ( GPA) of 2.00 in English subjects or demonstrated proficiency in English language by having at least one of the following qualifications. 2.1 a TOEIC score of at least 500 (if available) 2.2 Pass the English proficiency test of the Suan Sunandha International school of Art or based on the interview from the Suan Sunandha International school of Art examination committee. 3.Acquired good physical and mental health and be without any transmittable diseases. 4.Acquired clear record of good behavior. 5.A portfolio at the high school or interest on the subscription chosen field. 6.The applicant should have the qualifications, skills, knowledge and abilities that correspond to the selected majors or have the capability on either side such as the film production and digital media, digital design , applied performing arts, digital marketing and etc. 7.Thai students and foreign students must be able to listen, speak, read and write, and speak English perfectly. 6

7.Document Required for Admission 1.Two copies of Identification Card and residence registration for Thai candidates and copy of passport for foreign candidates in A4 paper. 2.Two copies of high school certificate or diploma or any other equivalent qualification as authorized by the respective country’s Ministry of Education or other assigned government agency, which must be translated to English , if issued in any other language and be confirmed by their own government’s appropriate Ministry or Embassy or issued in English by the school that issued the graduation record, diploma or transcript. 3.Two 3 x 4 cm. Photos. 4.Two copies of a name / surname change certificate , if applicable issued by appropriate authority in English. 5.Letter of recommendation in A4 paper (if available) 6.Two copies of ID card number in A4 paper. (Thai students only)

Optional : You are recommended to bring any film certification or prepare a portfolio about your film experience. This will help enhance your application, etc.

Note : Damage deposit : 3,000 THB Room Type : Air conditioned A damage deposit or deposit is a sum of money paid in relation to a rented item to ensure it is returned in good condition. They are particularly common in relation to rented accommodation, where they may also be referred to as a tenancy deposit or in some places a bond.

The owner of the item (the landlord in the case of accommodation) will take a sum of money from the person(s) renting the item (the tenant). If the item is returned in good condition at the conclusion of the tenancy the owner should return the deposit. If the item is returned with damage beyond normal wear and tear, the cost of repairing that damage may be charged against the deposit, and part (or none) of the deposit will be returned. 11

12. Visa Information 12.1 Apply for Non-Immigration Visa Procedure at Wat RiKhing Immigration 1. Contact the information counter to pick up a queue card 2. Submit your passport and other related documents to the officer 3. Pay the fee and fine in case of overstay 4. Meet with the officer to receive stamp and approval hearing, except 4.1 for retirement visas 4.2 when the applicant has hold Thai citizenship before 4.3 for business class A 4.4 for visas special cases (If making a statement is required, it takes approx. 40 min.) 5. Collect your passport 6. On the appointed day and time, please present your passport to the officer in person. There is charge for this stage.

12.2 Visa extension for student (Non-ED) An alien who applies for a Non – Immigrant “ED” for the first time, you can stay in Thailand for 90 days. For the next time, you must apply for an extension to continue staying for 1 year before the expiration of your visa about 1 month. For the extension, you will need to submit the following: 1. Letter of Suan Sunandha International School of Art , SSRU 2. Passport and Copy of the Passport every pages. 3. Application Form T.M. 7 + 2 inches photo 4. Copy of Academic Transcript 5. Copy of registration receipt 6. Visa Extension Fee 1,900 Baht Notice: Visa Extension must be applied in person 12.3 Notification of staying in Thailand over 90 days ( 90 days report) An alien who has stayed in Thailand over 90 days must notify your residence to the Immigration Office every 90 days. You can do as the following: 1. The foreigner makes the notification in person, or 2. The foreigner makes the notification by registered mail. Notification in person Notification Form T.M. 47 (No Fee) Copy of passport pages with following pages 12

-Front page showing name/surname/Passport No., ect. -Current Visa -Last entry stamp of immigration -Last extension of visa -Copy of departure card T.M. 6 -Envelope with 10 Baht stamp affixed and return address of foreigner for the officer incharge to send back the lower part of form TM. 47 after having received the notification. This part must be kept for reference and for future notifications of staying over 90 days.

Notice :

- Your registered mail must be sent to the Immigration office at least 15 days before the due date of notification. - Your new form will be stamped as of the expiration date of your old receipt. - Please keep your receipt of your registered mail in case of lost mail. - Your document can not be processed if you have passed the 90 days limit. (You must come to the nearest immigration office or Wat RiKhing Immigration in person to pay fine 2,000 Baht) - Waiting for reply mail over 1 month, please contact Wat RiKhing Immigration Office with your registered mail receipt.

The Fine : -The notification of staying in the Kingdom over 90 days is in no way equivalent to a visa extension. -If a foreigner has been staying in the kingdom for over 90 days without notifying the Wat RiKhing Immigration or notifying the Wat RiKhing Immigration later than the set period, a fine of 2,000.- Baht will be collected. If a foreigner who did not make the notification of staying over 90 days will be arrested , and he will be fined 4,000.- Baht. -If a foreigner leaves the country and re-enters, the day count starts at 1 in every case. 12.4 Re – entry Visa In case of an alien has to travel outside of Thailand for a short period, you need to proceed a re-entry permit before traveling. For the Re-entry Visa, you will need to submit the following: Passport -Application Form T.M. 8 13

-2 inches photo -Re-entry permit fee (1,000 Baht for single or 3,800 Baht for multiple) Notice: Re-entry permits must be applied for in person

12.5 Changing Visa from Tourist Visa to Non – Immigrant “ED” The application must be submitted at least 15 days before visa expiration and, in case of overstaying in Thailand, application could not be submitted. 1. Form TM. 86 for the foreigner, who has Tourist and Transit Visa and applies for Non –Immigrant “ED” 2. A Copy of passport pages (for example, personal information page, last entries stamp, visa sticker and extension stamp (if any) and departure card (Form TM. 6) 3. 2 inch size photograph 4. Application fee of 2,000 Baht. 5. To study at a government university 5.1 A cooperation letter from the Suan Sunandha International School of Art 5.2 A Copy of academic record of applicant with the latest tuition fee receipt 12.6 Notice 1. Thai visa extension for foreign students should be prepared a month before the visa’s expiration date. The faculty will collect the passports of the students who need to extend their visas and send them to the Administration Section of Suan Sunandha International School of Art. 2. In the situation where your faculty has exchange students, volunteers and/or foreign researchers, a NON-Immigrant Visa “Category ED” is required. Do not confuse this visa with the NON-Immigrant Visa “Category B” because a NON-Immigrant Visa “B” is needed for business transactions and/or work permits. 3.Visa on Arrival for entering the Kingdom of Thailand 3.1 The passport holder whose passport is stamped at every border checkpoint is able to stay in the Kingdom of Thailand for 15 days 3.2 The passport holder whose passport is stamped at Suwannabhumi Airport or Don Mueang International Airport checkpoint is able to stay in the Kingdom of Thailand for 30 days (Notes: It also depends on the Visa agreement of each country) 4. Foreign student must report themselves at the Immigration Bureau every 3 months ( 90 days), if he or she fails to do so, he or she will be fined for 2,000 Baht. A letter can be sent instead of going in person, but must be received prior to the end of the 90 day term. 5. Foreign students who need to travel outside the Kingdom of Thailand must receive a Re-entry permit before traveling at Airport or the Wat RiKhing Immigration, 52/11 No. 2 Soi- RiKhing 14 RiKhing-district, Sam Phran , Nakhon Pathom Thailand 73210. 14

If the student fails to do so, his or her latest Visa will be invalid. There are 2 types of Re-entry permit; 5.1 Re-entry permit for single trip costs 1,000 Baht. 5.2 Re-entry permit for multiple trips costs 3,800 Baht.

13. Using Mobile Phone in Thailand -There are three mobile phone companies which can operate in Thailand. You can purchase a local SIM card and prepaid phone cards for air time at any convenience store as well as other retail outlets. If you are a long-term resident with a Retirement visa or a work permit you can obtain a service plan and be billed monthly. You can also “register” your number, so in the event you lose your mobile phone your provider can replace your SIM card with the same number. If you do not register your number you will have to settle for a new number.
