He then appealed to this Authority. 2 [3] He predicts he has a real chance of being persecuted if he returns to Sri Lanka for reasons of the profile the Sri Lankan authorities will attach to him on his return. The central issues to be determined in this appeal relate firstly to his credibility and then, on the facts that are established, whether he has a well- founded fear of being persecuted should he now return to Sri Lanka.
