In de slotfase tikte hij de muur aan en viel hij terug van de tweede plaats om uiteindelijk als dertiende te finishen • Sam Bird staat weer bovenaan het pilotenklassement, terwijl teamgenoot Mitch Evans opschuift naar de achtste plaats • Jaguar Racing staat derde in het teamklassement, slechts vijf punten achter Envision Virgin Racing • Jaguar Racing keert voor het eerst in 17 jaar terug naar zijn thuisland voor rondes 12 en 13 van het Wereldkampioenschap ABB FIA Formule E. De double-header vindt over twee weken plaats op zaterdag 24 en zondag 25 juli 2021 New York City, Verenigde Staten van Amerika, 13 juli 2021 – Sam Bird, piloot van Jaguar Racing, schreef zondag geschiedenis door de ABB New York City E-Prix voor de derde keer te winnen.
