Dear & Cat Lovers, The ® (AKC) and the Cat Fanciers’ Association ® (CFA) welcome you to the second annual Meet the ™ — the largest showcase of dogs and cats in the world!

The CFA and AKC have joined forces once again this year to create a truly unique experi ence for every lover. We encourage you to “meet” all 160 dog breeds and 41 cat breeds, each presented in fun, interactive booths decorated to reflect their heritage, char acteristics and unique attributes as a family pet.

Throughout the weekend you’ll have the opportunity to interact with knowledgeable breeders from the AKC parent clubs and CFA councils of the dog and cat worlds, re sulting in the most comprehensive, unique and exciting live dog and cat experience under one roof! Completed cards will be eligible for a prize drawing every hour throughout the weekend. THE KITTY CAT-TURE / FELINE FASHION SHOW: See some of your favorite cats dressed to kill in fabulous creations from -Wear. Whether dressed for an evening gala or decked out in the latest sports - wear, our cats know what it takes to be fashion forwar d—20 custom completed outfits. 2 p.m. on Saturday. CAT IDOL: The judges will have their say, but it is the viewing public that determines who will be come New York's favorite feline. Don't miss finding out who is crowned this year's Cat Idol, the winner will be revealed during a live presentation in the stage area at 3 p.m. on Sunday. FELINE AGILITY: Don’t miss this exciting exhibition. Last year, Whoopi Goldberg came to Meet the Breed s™ to see cats race against the clock. Whoopi herself even ran a cat through the obstacle course consisting of stairs, hoops, and tunnels. WATCH THE 5 FASTEST CATS RACE for the gold on Sunday in a winner-take-all time trial. May the fastest cat win. Kids can learn to teach cats to run the obstacle course the way Whoopi did, from the expert. Feline Agility Master Jill Archibald will randomly select children from the audi ence throughout the weekend for hands-on instruction in agility training, earn ing a merit badge along the way.

This event is the perfect place to spend the day interacting with breed experts who can answer all of your questions about finding the right dog for your lifestyle. Here some factors to consider:

Temperament You’re going to be living with this dog for a long time, so you need to make sure he has a personal - ity you can live with. Do you want a dog that is ac - tive, or subdued?
