EMT2 Android Compatibility.Pdf Android Device Compatibility REQUIREMENTS Android OS version 6.0 or later (an OS version later than 6.0 is not a guarantee that the device is compatible). The Echo Meter Touch app will not load on devices running any version of Android Go. At least 1 GB of total RAM. At least 600 MB of storage for buffering the spectrogram. OTG compatibility. There are many free apps that can check such as OTG?. A micro-USB connector or a USB-C connector on your Android device (a USB-C connector requires an adapter, see section below). See the bottom of this section for a complete list of Android devices know to be compatible or un compatible with Echo Meter Touch. COMPATIBLE DEVICES For additional Android compatibility troubleshooting, see Wildlife Acoustics NOTES: If a device is not listed, that means that we do not yet have enough information to know if it works correctly with the Echo Meter Touch 2. It could very well work or not, we just don’t know at this time. We do update the list as we get new info. The compatibility list is subject to change. As devices become older, they may have increased difficulty running Echo Meter Touch with newer versions of OS. We do not guarantee compatibility with the list below, but we do offer a thirty day money back guarantee. Please be aware of any return policies for any Android phones or tablets purchased to use with Echo Meter Touch. Wildlife Acoustics is not responsible for any warranty or guarantee of compatibility with Android devices. PHONES: BQ Aquaris U BQ Aquaris U Plus Google Pixel and Pixel 2 (requires female micro-USB to male USB-C adapter) HTC 10 (requires female micro-USB to male USB-C adapter) HTC U11 **EMT2 Pro model only*** (requires female micro-USB to male USB-C adapter) Motorola Moto E4, G4, G4s Plus, G5, G5 Plus, G5s and X4 (Some models will only work with the Echo Meter Touch 2 Pro at 256k sample rate.) Nexus 5x (requires female micro-USB to male USB-C adapter) Samsung Galaxy A3 (requires female micro-USB to male USB-C adapter) Samsung Galaxy A6 Samsung Galaxy A40 (requires female micro-USB to male USB-C adapter) Samsung Galaxy J3 V, 3rd Generation Samsung Galaxy S7 Samsung Galaxy S8, S9 and S10 (requires female micro-USB to male USB-C adapter) Samsung Galaxy Note 8 (requires female micro-USB to male USB-C adapter) Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact (requires female micro-USB to male USB-C adapter) Sony Xperia XZ3 (requires female micro-USB to male USB-C adapter) Xiaomi Mi A1 Xiaomi Mi Max 2 TABLETS: Amazon Fire HD 8 Tablet (8th generation) - The app is available through the Amazon Appstore. TABLETS: All Amazon Fire tablets other than Amazon Fire HD 8 Tablet (8th generation) Huawei T3 Lenovo Tab 7 Essential model TB-7304F HIT OR MISS DEVICES Due to inconsistencies in these devices hardware or operating systems, they will either work perfectly or not recognize the module at all and we cannot predict which. PHONES: Oneplus 3 (requires female micro-USB to male USB-C adapter) Samsung Galaxy S5 Sony Xperia XA TABLETS: Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 USB ADAPTERS AND EXTENSIONS EXTENSION AND ADAPTER STUBS If you have a phone or tablet with a USB-C connector, you need an adapter stub to work with the micro-USB on the Echo Meter Touch. At this time, we have found only two female micro-USB to male USB-C adapters that work well. They are available at “Arktek” and “Tronsmart" and are available at Amazon in the USA and UK. Make sure that it is USB Type C (male) to Micro USB (female). We will continue to test new adapter stubs and add to this list if we find more compatible adapters. If you have phone or tablet with a micro-USB connector but have a case that interferes with the Echo Meter Touch, then you need a micro-USB extension stub. Most brands will work, though we have had occasional reports of ones that don't so you will have to test after purchase. EXTENSION CABLES An extension cable can be used to mount the Echo Meter Touch module away from your mobile device. If your device has a micro-USB connector, then you need a micro-USB extension cable (female micro-USB to male micro-USB). Different brands are hit or miss and they change regularly so you will need to purchase and test to find one that works. One brand that definitely does not work is YCS Basics. We have had good luck with the TUSITA brand .

  • Dear Parent/Guardian, This Summer Your Child Can Use Lexia Reading
Dear Parent/Guardian, This summer your child can use Lexia Reading Core5®, a fun computer-based program that has helped millions of students develop foundational reading skills. Here’s how Lexia Reading Core5 works: ● Students use Core5 at a level that fits their individualized needs. ● Students work independently through online activities to develop foundational reading skills in phonological awareness, phonics, structural analysis, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. ● Online activities support students as they learn new skills by providing direct instruction and feedback. ● Progress and performance in the online activities is saved and available for teacher review. ● During the school year, students have the opportunity to participate in collaborative, hands-on activities to reinforce skills introduced online and further develop learning. ● Over the summer, you can support progress in the program by reading daily with your child and talking about what you have read. We hope you share in our excitement about using this program with your child this summer! Sincerely, Lexia Reading Core5® can be used at home. Getting started is easy! 1. To use on a computer, go to www.lexiacore5.com. If you have a slow Internet connection, visit www.lexialearning.com and click on the Download link at the top of the page to install Core5. 2. To use on an iPad, iPad mini, or Android* tablet, download the free Lexia Reading Core5 app from the App store or the Google Play store. *Android support is limited to these devices: Samsung Galaxy Tab S2, Google Pixel C, and Google Nexus 7” (2012 and 2013) and 10”. The device must be able to access the Google Play Store; for this reason, Kindles cannot use the Core5 app for Android.
