Krall will be performing standards, as well as songs from her highly anticipated new album Turn Up the Quiet, where she collaborated with Tommy LiPuma, the late Grammy®-winning producer. Her latest album combines the Great American Songbook and her jazz roots. “Diana Krall’s expressive and emotional new album, Turn Up the Quiet, transcends musical genres with touching and emotional arrangements,” said Anne Ewers, President & CEO of the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts. “This tour brings Philadelphia audiences a fresh new sound from a treasured jazz artist.” With a record eight albums topping the Billboard Jazz Albums list, Krall has released a combined 19 gold, platinum, and multi-platinum records, earning eight Juno® Awards and five Grammy® Awards. An internationally celebrated musician, Krall has sold millions of records around the world.
