ANNUAL REPORT 2016-17 FOREWORD

Greetings from PDAMSMS !

It is a pleasure to bring out the Annual Report for the year 2016-17

This report brings out the aims and features of the programs as well as our achievements and challenges.

This year most of our programs did reasonably well and some could have done better. Two new programs were added. In Paschim Mewdinipur we started Link Workers Scheme under NACO & WBSAP&CS In Birbhum we initiated Livelyhood, Health, Education & five other programs under KOTA Educational Trust,

To scale up the work we propose to collaborate with like-minded organisations. We also plan to bring in like-minded individuals who can 'move' our programs and nurture them.

We always tries to serve the economically and socially backward classes in the path shown by Mahatma Gandhi. The one of the most important goal of the organization is to remove economic inequality and social imbalance by the means of the support, service and awareness.

It is because of so many of you that we can accomplish so much today and plan for many more fruitful projects like those we celebrate in this report.

We endeavour for transparency and accountability in our work; always aligned to our mission of helping the poorest of the poor.

Finally, we would like to thank every single staff member and volunteer of PDAMSMS who have worked selflessly and tirelessly to serve women and children of most vulnerable communities. We would also like to thank our Donors, Well-wishers and Members for their continuing guidance and encouragement as we venture into new geographic areas and interventions, and scale up our work.
