Alternative options include the use of molecular genetic markers that affect the levels of androstenone and skatole in pig adipose tissue by Marker Assisted Selection (MAS). The aim of this review is to provide overview in recent facts in the field of molecular genetics and possibility in boar taint reduction solution.
