Releases During 2011-2012 Clan Analogue released an album and EP by Valley Forge, along with the tribute compilation Headspace.

CA040: Valley Forge – Artificial Heart The Valley Forge album Artificial Heart was released in August 2011, following on from the Valley Forge EP Follow Suit, released in late 2010. The album included the single ‘Wayfaring Stranger’ featuring vocals by Kamahl. Several other tracks were made available via the Clan Analogue Soundcloud page in advance of the album’s release. “A trip-hop sci-fi soundtrack, merging sinister technology with spiritual soundscapes… Artificial Heart is an excursion into our own warped, inconsistent world.” Rave Magazine

CA040W: Valley Forge with Kamahl – Wayfaring Stranger The Wayfaring Stranger EP included a radio mix and remix by Andy Rantzen of the track ‘Wayfaring Stranger’ from Valley Forge’s Artificial Heart album, along with several other tracks not available on the album. A filmclip for ‘Wayfaring Stranger’ was shown on Rage on ABC TV and won the Music Video Award at the ‘Harold’s Shorts’ Short Film Festival at the Harold Park Hotel in Glebe. “An eerie downbeat crawl of vocoders, gliding hiphop-inflected rhythms and shimmering electronics, dark pop hooks lurking just beneath the surface” Cyclic Defrost

CA041: Headspace: A Tribute to Severed Heads – various artists Headspace was released in May 2012, and promoted in conjunction with the 20th anniversary of Clan Analogue. The album contained 18 cover versions of Severed Heads tracks by Clan Analogue artists, with contributions from international guests Scanner (UK) and Little Nobody (Japan). The tracks by Aeriae and Data Transmit were made available in advance of the album’s release on the Clan Analogue Soundcloud page. A filmclip for Kazumichi Grime and Andrew Jones’s version of ‘Petrol’ was shown on Rage on ABC TV. The album was launched with events in both and Melbourne. “Who better than Australian collective Clan Analogue to pay tribute to Severed Heads? The Sydney pioneers blended synth-pop and industrial with dark techno over three decades, and here they get reinterpreted by their diverse acolytes.” Stack
