The guests may enjoy as many of the "vacation spots" as he desires by taking his meals at any of the outstanding inns nearby, or restaurants throughout the valley. He may also take short trips to many points of interest in central Arizona. SETTING El Tambo is a new and delightfully different resort located in the center of .the Valley of the Sun vaca• tion area. It is situated on the desert slope of Camel• back just south of Mummy Mountain. The grounds occupy an area of twenty acres of unchanged Ari• zona desert. The climate and desert air are renown• ed for their health-giving qualities. GUEST ACCOMMODATIONS The architecture is modern with a southwestern influence. It was designed for visitors seeking the pleasures and benefits of this area in their "own home" type of environment. It consists of fifteen · units in nine buildings, ranging in capacity from a single room apartment to a living room and two bed• rooms. Each unit has a bathroom, dressing room and kitchenette. The kitchenette is so equipped that the guest may have his own cup of breakfast coffee on the sun terrace, a sandwich after a ride or party, or prepare a whole meal if he desires it. The living rooms have open fireplaces and picture windows overlooking the mountains. In addition, each apart• ment has its own sun terrace.
