Last season Cal didn’t win its second conference game until January 29, nine games into conference play, and did not earn its 14th win overall until March 3, 30 games into the season • The Bears improve to 4-1 in road games this season. Last year Cal went 2-9 on the road, including 0-9 in conference road games • Cal was held to 25 points in the first half, the fewest points the Bears have scored in any half all season • The Bears held Colorado to just 19 points in the second half, tied for the fewest points Cal has allowed in any half all season • Cal opened the third quarter on a 17-0 run and held Colorado without a field goal for the first 6:25 of the period • The Bears outscored Colorado 24-12 in the third quarter after scoring just 25 points in the entire first half • This is the first time all season the Bears have won a game when scoring fewer than 70 points. Cal is 13-0 on the season when scoring 70 points or more, compared to 1-3 when scoring fewer than 70 • The Bears improve to 13-1 on the year against unranked teams, compared to 1-2 vs ranked foes • The Bears were held below 70 points for the third consecutive game. Cal is 13-0 this season when scoring 70 or more points, and 0-3 when held below 70 • Sophomore center Kristine Anigwe scored 25 of her game-high 29 points in the second half and went a perfect 11-11 from the foul line • This is the first game in her career that Anigwe has shot 100% from the foul line when attempting at least 10 free throws. Anigwe joins Oregon State’s Sydney Wiese as the only Pac-12 players to go 11-11 or better from the foul line this season. • Friday’s performance has Anigwe’s 8th game this season scoring 25 or more points, tied for the third-most by any player in the country Most Games Scoring 25+ Points – Women’s Division I This Season Kelsey Plum (Washington) 15 Alexis Peterson (Syracuse) 9 Kristine Anigwe (California) 8 Jennie Simms (Old Dominion) 8 • Anigwe added 11 rebounds for her 12th double-double of the season sixth in the last seven games. Anigwe’s 12 double-doubles are the third-most by any player in the country this season. • Anigwe matched her career-high with 4 blocked shots, 3 of which came in the second half • The 6’4” Anigwe has scored in double-figures in 27 consecutive games and 47 of her 48 career games overall • Junior forward Penina Davidson had 8 points, 8 rebounds, and a career-high 6 blocks. Davidson’s 6 blocks are tied with 2015 Pac-12 Player of the Year Reshanda Gray for the most by any Cal player in the last 10 seasons and are just one shy of tying Cal’s program record • Junior guard Mikayla Cowling dished out a season-high nine assists – one shy of her career high – and added 8 rebounds .
