Chailease's mission is to "become a partner in success with our customers and a driver of economic development." The company has long supported and accompanied the growth of many SMEs, and since the establishment of the Chailease Foundation in September 2004, we have viewed "career-adapted development" as the main axis of service, while also striving to be "a good friend to accompany the career growth of children and young". We want to assist youth prior to their entry into the workplace, as is our corporate mission; In addition, the Chailease Foundation actively cares for disadvantaged rural residents and supports various social welfare institutions. The company hopes to bring together the strength of the enterprise and give back to society from its business gains. Service areas include: career exploration, corporate volunteer promotions, sports talent training, and sponsorship of public welfare projects. To expand the benefits of service, Chailease also partners with organizations, schools, private organizations and government entities to plan and run diverse activities. Combined with input from its employees, this allows the company to take concrete actions to fulfill its corporate social responsibility. We also hope it will help bring different perspectives and experiences to our clients. Since the establishment of the Chailease Foundation, and with approval from the competent authorities, seven directors have been appointed, and Ms. Koo Chou Chi-Hwa selected to chair the foundation by the board of directors and integrate the foundation's affairs. A meeting of all the directors is convened each year, together with two or more board meetings at which the annual budget of the foundation is reviewed, and overview exercised over the use of its funds. Based on its annual budget, the foundation colleagues responsible for various projects plan and executive events, and do a satisfaction survey at the conclusion of each. They write a report on the results, and submit it to the board of directors at the end of the year to show the effectiveness of activities and funding. In addition, the annual activity budget, revenue and expenditure accounts and results, must all be based on the laws governing the organization, and reports are made to the Youth Development Agency under the Ministry of Education and review performed by the competent authorities. Chailease refers to the London Benchmark Group's Corporate Community Investment calculation framework to effectively quantify the benefits of investment in social participation. The company keeps statistics on public welfare expenditures, funding of public welfare activities, and use of funds, to evaluate the human, material and financial resources invested by Chailease in social integration activities.

Based on the association's vision for service, Chailease helps children and teens to develop expertise and plan a good career path. The company provides a variety of events that help many different people to explore their career paths, assisting children and young people in exploring their interests, and encouraging those interests. Through participation in various events, young people can accumulate varied experiences and develop a positive concept for their careers, laying a good foundation for their future work lives.

Business Experience Camp Chailease has combined the resources of its two largest holding companies—Chailease Holding and Yellowstone Holding, and its experience in the financial, leasing, and tourism and leisure industries to provide young people opportunities to experience first-hand what working in the industries is truly like, cultivating specialists in the financial, leasing, and tourism and leisure industries for society in the process. Lectures and Workshops in Remote Areas In order to enhance the career preparation and development of minority ethnic groups and indigenous students in rural areas, Chailease hires professional faculty to go to rural schools and lead young people to explore career values. Beyond a career blueprint that suits each individual, the events also include lectures on life and gender education and interpersonal relationships workshops. These cultivate a positive attitude and correct values. In 2019, a total of 12 such career workshops were held, serving 560 students. Average satisfaction ratings for these events reached 95.3.

Workplace Visits To enhance young people's awareness and understanding of different industries as a foundation of career development, Chailease coordinates with various industries to invite middle school from rural areas and youth from juvenile counseling institutions and community-based youth welfare service centers to participate. By leading young people into different fields of work, and letting them better understand each one while experiencing the work for themselves, youth are able to see their own possibilities. This in turn motivates them to learn and explore their own abilities. Three career areas were included in 2019, and a total of 101 youth participated in the program.

86 SOCIAL INCLUSION In addition, to coordinate even more closely with our mission, in 2019 we extended career visit events looking to youth who need part-time work and those about to enter the workforce. Chailease held workplace experience and employment promotion activities designed to move youth from interviews through preparation for employment and internship interviews, so that they can learn workplace etiquette and understand the ecology of the workplace. They also learn the knowledge and skills needed for certain jobs, thereby expanding their personal career horizons. Two locations were included in the workplace experience and employment promotion activities, serving 29 people; one pre-employment preparation course was held serving 7 people; and 5 young people participated in interviews, of which 4 were taken on for internships.

Employee life lectures To enhance positive thinking among employees and relieve the pressure of work and life, while achieving adjustment and balance in family, career and life, and ensuring the health and well-being of our employees (SDG3), Chailease plans to offer a life lecture once a quarter in the head office, and a semi-annual meeting for offices in Central and South Taiwan. The themes of these events focus on life aesthetics, beauty and fashion, tourism, health care, arts, culture and creativity, etc. A total of 8 such events were held, with 350 people attending. Average satisfaction ratings for these events reached 96.7.

8.2 Volunteer Services

Since its formal founding at the end of 2015, the Chailease Business Volunteer Squad has been actively organizing and holding a variety of volunteer training classes, providing volunteer services, and arranging opportunities for colleagues to perform volunteer work all around Taiwan. It has been doing this to meet the needs of organizations and to recruit individuals in business interested in performing volunteer work. As it provides services, the Company is showing its concern for other human beings, while receiving praise from other service organizations. In 2019, we provided 583 individuals who performed 2,751.5 hours of volunteer work for an average total of 4.72 hours per person. To help employees engaged in volunteerism better understand the relevance of what they are doing, Chailease also proactively plans and holds various volunteer training courses. In 2019, the company held one 2-day volunteer training course covering topics such as service ethics and connotations, sharing of experiences in the volunteer field, and so on. The company also plans high-altitude activities to allow volunteers to challenge themselves and build team cohesiveness and cooperation. A total of 33 volunteers from North, Central and South participated in the volunteer training courses.

To give company volunteers an improved read on the pulse of society and learn how to connect and integrate community resources, in 2019 Chailease held social enterprise visits and volunteer training activities in northern, central, and southern Taiwan. In addition to visiting a social enterprise to learn about a novel mode of assistance in today’s society, through hands-on experience, attendees could get a better understanding of the context and mission of public service. In 2019, three events were held with a total attendance of 73 people.

8.3 Athletic Talent Cultivate

Beginning in 2015, Chailease Holdings has had a badminton team, and currently the team cooperates with University of Taipei, Bailing High School, Datong High School and Xihu Middle School for training. It has signed 44 players, hoping that giving them comprehensive training and character education will assist in their formation to nurture talent for the nation. 24 were promoted to Group A after training. The Chailease Sunshine Pavilion was built in 2018 as a base for training players. It includes a training room, room for players, professional courts and meeting rooms, with comprehensive facilities. It provides complete hardware equipment and training resources for Chailease Badminton Team. Another sports brand, Mizuno, sponsors players on the team with badminton items, and sets up business partnerships with them assisting the team to focus on improving professional skills and moving to greater achievements. In addition, the hope is that holistic training and character education will help to cultivate talent for the national badminton scene.

In 2019, members of the Chailease Badminton Team also travelled overseas for competitions: the Pembangunan Jaya Raya Yonex Sunrise, Mongolia International Series, YONEX Badminton Canada, U.S. Open Badminton Championships, Asia Junior Championships, Yonex Akita Masters, U19 World Junior Championships, Badminton Asia U17 & U15 Junior Championships, Scottish Open, Victor Welsh International Badminton Championships, Celcom Axiata Malaysia International Challenge, AIG FZ Forza . In 2019, the Chailease badminton team had participated 27 competitions, won 30 golden medals, 22 sliver medals and 24 bronze medals.

Holistic Career Planning Career Series Workshops Members of the Chailease badminton team are between 15 and 20 years of age. They are in the midst of a time of self-identification and integration of roles, and Chailease provides teachers and resources to help them with self-identity, peer relationships and future career choices. Plans are provided for exploration and self-growth groups, including time management, career planning, team motivation, and gender education, to improve players' self-understanding and self-esteem, cultivate teamwork and tacit understanding and establish correct interpersonal and emotional relationships, while developing the ability to make career decisions. A total of 8 such courses were held in 2019, serving 225 people. Average satisfaction ratings for these events reached 94.9.

Giving Back for the Public Good ─ Badminton Dreams Summer Camp To enlarge the company's scope of service to society, for the past two years, the Chailease Foundation has held a "Chailease Badminton Team Dream Summer Camp". Under the guidance of coaches and players of the Chailease Badminton Team,43 students from Mudan, ShuangXi and Fulong Elementary Schools in New Taipei City and the Taoyuan City QIAO-AI Elementary School participated in camp. They left with a greater appreciation for the power and beauty of badminton.

Camp was held at the Chailease Sunshine Gym where Chailease Badminton Team members were responsible for hosting and leading the event. Each athlete used their expertise and patience to work with the children one on one. By taking on a teaching role, team members could walk a mile in their own coaches’ shoes. After the camp’s two short days were over, many of the children had tears in their eyes, sad to leave their newfound friends. In their thank you card, the children wrote, “We will miss all of our coaches and hope they can come visit us again.” 2019 of grade is 94.9.

8.4 Project Sponsorship

To fight poverty and fulfill its responsibilities as a good corporate social citizen, Chailease has established scholarships to help students in high schools and vocational schools in remote areas. The company supported 6 Aboriginal vocational high school students, providing NT$15,000 in aid for each. In addition, Chailease sponsored a series of diverse talent clubs in hopes of cultivating useful talent for the nation and encouraging students to develop their talents and expertise to develop their potential, in the aim of diversifying human resources in these areas. Chailease provided a total of NT$100,000 in subsidies for the overseas Chinese patriotic football team project. Chailease also provides project sponsorships for service clubs in colleges and universities, diversifying its approach to sponsorship of organizations for the public good and extending the spirit of service to meet needs in every corner of Taiwan. A total of 21 such service clubs were sponsored with NT$515,000 in support. Some 3,585 people were served. In addition, with an eye to the Mainland China area, Chailease sponsored scholarships for outstanding poor students so that they could study without worry about money. This also serves as an investment in future corporate talent. In addition, looking to the ASEAN region, Chailease sponsored public welfare events held by local car dealers, forging a good image of the company as a charitable donor overseas. A total of NT$40 million in sponsorship was provided.
