Inaugural Function of Induction Programme

The objective of the programme is to make students free comfortable in the new environment, open them up, set a healthy daily routine, create bonding in the batch as well as between faculties and students, develop awareness, sensitivity and understanding of the self, people around them, society at large and nature. The inauguration ceremony of the Induction Programme for the session 2019-20 was organized on 06 August, 2019 at J.P. Auditorium, Khandari Campus, Agra. The ceremony was started with the lamp lightning to invoke the blessings of Goddess Saraswati and students got the chance to listen and interact with the dignitaries of the University, Institute and also their Coordinators and Mentors. Who Am I? Creative Art Contest – “Who am I?” was organized for all students where they were required to depict their personalities through Art, Slogan or Symbols and later they need to explain their drawing to other peers and judges. The students were provided all the necessary items from Institute. The judgment was made on the basis of the creativity, clarity of thoughts in art, clarity in verbal thoughts and audience response.

Art & Craft In induction program Art & Craft were organized. Experts for Art activities were invited. Students learned the basics of painting. Newcomers also got a chance to learn basics of Face Sketching. Following are the glimpses of the activities:

SELP To create a sense of positive & holistic development of student and bringing over all excellence and stability in one's personality with this objective lectures were delivered by Art of Living organization: SELP (Student Excellence & Learning Programme). This programme include ancient breeding technique, yoga, pranayama and many group activities, process to bring physical, mental eternal and stability. This included lectures on health, career, studies, learning & leadership skills this programme also included powerful breathing technique called sudarshan kriya.

The motive of the Induction Programme is to help students adjust in the unfamiliar environment of college and get to know the other peers. In such a difficult transition from school to college life Motivation is the key element. For this purpose, expert lectures to motivate students were organized. Rangoli competition

Rangoli is originated from the Sanskrit word ‘rangavalli’. It is a combination of two words Rang can be referred as colors and can be referred as celebration. So, Rangoli is an artistic festivity of colors. Organizing such events help students to remain in close touch with their culture. Rangoli Competitions play an important role in motivating students to perform and outshine in their creative skills. It offers a chance for participants to gain substantial experience, adopt innovative techniques, showcase talents, analyze and evaluate outcomes and uncover personal ability.

Health Check Up Camp

Health Check Up Camp was organized in Institute of Engineering & Technology, Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Khandari Campus, Agra under Induction Program AICTE Mandates TEQIP III scheme.

The Doctors from Pushpanjali Hospital & Research Centre Agra had organized the Health Check Up Camp on 13 August, 2019. The team of doctors comprised of (Dr. R. K. Singh, General Physician, Dr. Suruchi Jain, Ophthalmologist, Dr. Sandhya Rajput, Dentist and Dr. Priyanka Yadav Dietician and Technical Staff Mr. Shekhar, Ms. Sarika, Ms. Sapna, Ms. Sonia).

150 students, faculties and staff members benefited from this Health Check Up.

LOCAL INDUSTRIAL VISIT

1. MSME PPDC, Agra-

Proess and Product Development Centre for technological up-gradation of small-scale castings & forging industries was set up at Agra in the latter half of 1985 with the assistance of Govt. of , Govt. Of U.P. & UNDP/UNIDO. Initially, it was a Government setup under SIDO and later converted into an autonomous body w.e.f. 21st July, 1986. The affairs of the center are managed by a Governing Council under the chairmanship of AS & DC (SSI). The Principal Director is the chief executive of the center. The center has four major divisions, viz.,

1.Testing division 2. Product development division comprising of foundry,forge,heat treatment and machine shops 3.Training 4.consultancy

2.Dawar footware industry-Dawar Group is led from the front by Mr. Puran Dawar, a pro-active veteran of the shoe industry in India. Mr. Dawar is a widely traveled person and has been associated with the shoe industry for more than three decades. He understands the dynamics of shoe business and how it is conducted in the international market. Besides a number of Italian Lasting Machines and German Closing Machines, there are other machines at various stages of production. The assembly line manufacturing enhances production and ensures quality.

3. Atul Group of Industries-

Atul Group a progressive conglomerate, was founded in the year 1962 under the leadership of Shri R. S. Mittal with a vision of serving society by supplying superior quality products that provide high value for money for customers. From a humble beginning as a small manufacturing set up for manufacture of Diesel Generating Set & Diesel Pumpsets to a spectacular growth is the saga of the Group. Since our inception in the year 1962, the Company in a Span of 23 years has turned into a 12-Industries-Group with continuous multifold growth in its Sales turnover. CULTURAL VISIT

AIM OF CULTURAL VISIT

Cultural visit was planned to engage newly admitted students with region culture , specifically the lifestyle of the people in those geographical areas, the history of those people, their art, architecture, religion(s), and other elements that helped shape their way of life.It help them to develop close bonding and understand the problems of the region where they will graduate .

1. barrage -The Gokul barrage, also barrage is a barrage on River at Gokul in , top of which also serves as the road bridge. It is , 7 km downstream from Mathura,[5] was proposed to be completed by March 2003, to supply 30 cusec water to Mathura and and also 115 cusec water to Agra. The construction of barrage has reduced the flow of Yamuna and water downstream of Mathura has become more polluted due to lack of flushing.

2.Prem Mandir-Prem Mandir is a in Vrindavan, Mathura, India. It is maintained by Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat, an international non-profit, educational, spiritual, charitable trust. The complex is on a 54-acre site on the outskirts of Vrindavan, and is dedicated to Lord and Sita Ram, on the first level and Sita Ram on the second level. The temple structure was established by the fifth Jagadguru, Kripalu Maharaj.

2.Iskcon temple-Sri Krishna-Balaram Mandir is a Gaudiya Vaishnava temple in the holy city of Vrindavan. It is one of the main ISKCON temples in India and internationally. The deities of the temple are Krishna and , at the central altar. On the right altar are Radha Krishna with , Lalita and Vishakha. On the left altar is a of with Nityananda, and of Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada and his spiritual teacher Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura. Krishna-Balaram Mandir enforces one of the highest standards of cleanliness and of deity worship in all of Vrindavan.

3.Banke Bihari Temple-Shri Bankey Bihari Mandir is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Krishna, in the holy city of Vrindavan in the Mathura district of . It is situated near Shri RadhaVallabh Temple.This temple is among the 7 temples of Thakur of Vrindavan including Shri Radha Vallabh Ji, Shri Govind Dev Ji, Shri Radha Raman Ji, Shri Radha Madhav Ji, Shri Madan Mohan Ji and Shri Gopinath Ji. Bankey Bihari Ji was originally worshipped at Nidhivana. Bankey means "bent in three places" and Bihari means "supreme enjoyer." The image of Lord Krishna stands in the Tribhanga posture. Haridas Swami originally worshipped this devotional image under the name of Kunj-Bihari ("Enjoyer of Lakes").

4. The Krishna Janmasthan Temple Complex is a group of Hindu temples in Mallapura, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, India. These temples are built around the place where major Hindu deity Krishna is said to have been born.[1][2] The place holds religious significance since the 6th century BC. The temples were destroyed multiple times throughout history, latest by Mughal emperor Aurangzeb in 1670 who erected Eidgah there. In 20th century, the new temple complex was built with the financial help from industrialists containing the Keshavdeva temple, the Garbha Griha temple at the birth place and the Bhagavata Bhavan.
