MEYER WERFT, based in Papenburg, was founded in 1795 and is in its sixth generation of family ownership. MEYER WERFT has achieved an excellent worldwide reputation over the last decades. The company is especially known due to the construction of huge, modern and sophisticated cruise ships.

Meyer Turku

Meyer Turku Oy is one of the leading European shipbuilding companies and specialised in building cruise ships, car-passenger ferries and technically demanding special vessels. Meyer Turku has 1,350 own employees and the shipyard area in Turku comprises 144 hectares.

Innovations like the first all-outside-cabin cruise ships, the prefabricated cabin and bathroom modules, and the indoor promenade originate from Turku shipyard. The orderbook of Meyer Turku consists of three cruise ships for German TUI Cruises. Mein Schiff 4 will be delivered in spring 2015, in spring 2016 and in the spring 2017.
