SD4C MEETING MINUTES – SPRING 2020 Grossmont College hosted via Zoom on Friday April 24 at 11 AM - 1 PM • MIS course, no major changes. • Staffing, only MiraCosta adding new full-time, and interviewing via Zoom. • Everyone doing Summer 100% online, and Southwestern going all online for Fall • Grossmont looking at MOS certification and becoming a testing site. • New classes: Grossmont with PLC class. Miramar has Assembly. • Mesa College moved to Cengage Mindtap for MIS, Office, and programming courses and is happy with it. • National University has new Bachelor’s in Cybersecurity. 2019 REPORT 2020-21 Five Year Capital Outlay Plan California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office | Eloy Ortiz Oakley, Chancellor ELOY ORTIZ OAKLEY Chancellor Aug. 21, 2019 The Honorable Gavin Newsom Governor of California State Capitol Sacramento, CA 95814 RE: Report on California Community Colleges Five-Year Capital Outlay Plan for 2020-21 Dear Gov. Newsom: The California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office and the Board of Governors are pleased to release the 2020-21 Five-Year Capital Outlay Plan for the California Community Colleges. The California Community Colleges has more than 2.1 million students enrolled in its 73 districts, 115 college campuses and 78 approved educational centers. The infrastructure used to facilitate its educational programs and administrative operations includes more than 25,000 acres of land, 5,956 buildings and 87 million gross square feet of space that includes 54 million assignable square feet of space. To support community college districts grow and improve their educational facilities, the Facilities Planning Unit of the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office annually reviews and approves local Five-Year Capital Outlay Plans as part of the Capital Outlay grant application process. The Facilities Planning Unit also works alongside the Board of Governors of the California Community Colleges to develop an annual systemwide Five- Year Capital Outlay Plan pursuant to California Regulation and Education Code. The Five- Year Capital Outlay Plan is presented to California Legislature in conjunction with the Governor’s Budget, and it clarifies statewide needs and priorities of the California Community Colleges. We believe that proper educational facilities play a vital role in supporting the goals and commitments outlined in the California Community Colleges Vision for Success (Vision for Success). -

Team Chair NOTE: this page shall be added to the External Evaluation Team Report (Team Report), immediately behind the cover page, and shall become part of the final report associated with the review. DATE: February 3, 2017 INSTITUTION: Evergreen Valley College 3095 Yerba Buena Road San Jose, CA 95731 SUBJECT: Commission Revisions to the Team Report The Team Report provides details of the findings of the evaluation team that visited Evergreen Valley College October 10-13, 2016 with regard to the Eligibility Requirements, Accreditation Standards, and Commission policies, and should be read carefully and used to understand the team’s findings. Upon a review of the Team Report sent to the College, the Evergreen Valley College Self-Evaluation Report, and supplemental information and evidence provided by College and District representatives, the following changes or corrections are noted for the Team Report: 1. The Commission removed Standard citations I.B.9, IV.A.3, and IV.A.7 from District Recommendation 1 and changed this recommendation to one to increase effectiveness wherever it occurs in the Team Report. 2. The Commission deleted District Recommendation 3 wherever it occurs in the Team Report. 3. The Commission changed College Recommendations 2 and 4 to recommendations to increase effectiveness wherever they occur in the Team Report. -

The center staff, resources and support services enable students to identify a major or field of interest. The center also provides access to online tools and one-on-one assistance to help prepare students for the transfer process to explore the career trajectory of their choice. With equity, opportunity, and social justice as our guiding principles, Evergreen Valley College (EVC) mission is to empower and prepare students from diverse backgrounds to succeed academically and to be civically responsible global citizens.
