Burns Night At The Waterfront  NEW BBC Two Northern Ireland, 7pm

The life and poetry of Robert Burns is celebrated in a special concert of song, dance and music on BBC Two Northern Ireland.

Recorded at the Waterfront Hall, this Burns Night Celebration broadcasts on Wednesday 25 January (Burns Night) on BBC Two Northern Ireland at 7pm.

Presented by Zoe Salmon, the hour long programme will feature performances from Scottish singer Emily Smith, local singers Sylvia Burnside and Alan McBride, Robert Burns reenactor Christopher Tait and the -Scots Agency’s Juvenile Pipe Band. Also joining the line-up will be pipers from the 11 time World Champion Field Marshal Montgomery Pipe Band.

Burn’s Night At The Waterfront is produced by Barking Films for BBC Northern Ireland.
