She made history with her appointment as the 12th 2 music director of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra (BSO). Symphony No. 2 ‘The Age of Anxiety’ Her success as the BSO’s music director has garnered national 1 Jennifer Johnson Cano, Mezzo-Soprano and international attention for her innovative programming and 2 Jean-Yves Thibaudet, Piano artistry.
