Denver Public Schools Job Title: Executive Director, Talent Management URL: http://tinyurl.com/k33ev8t Location: Human Resources Salary Range: Commensurate with experience Work Schedule: 235 Application Due Date: Open Until Filled Position Objective: The Executive Director of Talent Management will work across Denver Public Schools to support the development, rollout and systemization of human capital systems that ensure high quality teachers in every classroom and school leaders in every building. Specifically, the Executive Director will be responsible for collaborating across the district to put in place systems to recruit, onboard, support, evaluate, recognize and retain excellent teachers and school leaders that can meet the needs of our students. Moreover, the Executive Director of Talent Management will be responsible for recruitment, teachers and school leader preparation pathways management, implementation of the LEAP and LEAD systems of teacher and school leader evaluation, feedback and growth, development of an employee value proposition and career lattices for teachers and leaders, and teacher and school leader compensation redesign. Essential Functions: • Lead the development and operation of best-in-class talent management systems and processes for the recruitment and retention of highly effective teachers and principals. • Provide leadership and coaching to a team of forty, including Teacher Talent Management team, Principal Talent Management Team, Teacher Alternative Preparation Pathways team, and Talent Management Communications. • Ensure collaborative cross-functional relationships are in place to support successful implementation of talent management initiatives with critical partners, including Denver Classroom Teachers’ Association, Teacher Learning and Leadership, Assessment, Department of Technology Services, Instructional Superintendents, Principal Professional Development, and the HR Business Partners.
