1. The number of new pitches for Gypsy and Traveller encampments given planning permission in each financial year from 2012/13 to 2016/17 are provided below:

2. The need for Gypsy and Traveller pitches in is outlined in the Gypsy and Traveller and Travelling Showpeople Accommodation Assessment (2012) and 2016 update. There is a need for a total 187 additional permanent pitches 2011-31.
