INTRODUCTION:

The Department of English, one of the first departments of the college , began functioning from 2007.Since then, peopled by several distinguished faculty.The Department has grown in terms of the student enrollment, faculty numbers. Over the years its output has included publications in highly rated scholarly journals.Its alumni have occupied highly respectable jobs in fields as diverse as academia, publishing and several other.It offers BA,B.Sc.,B.Com Basic English Course since 2007.It even offered a Generic Elective Course in the academic year 2019-2020 for BA III/IV Semester Students to cater to a wide range of student interests. The Department has been organizing workshops,lecture Series on Langauge and Literature since 2007.
