has been brought into the notice of undersigned by Civil Surgeon, Amritsar vide their office letter No. IDSP/ASR/2021/317 Dated 03.05.2021 that Seventeen active positive cases of Covid-19 hasbeen confirmcd in Avenue arca and as per protocol and advisory reccivcd from Ministry of Hea and Family welfare. Government of , it appers to ne that these cases can efect the surrounding areas and posses a potential threat to nearby localities.

Now, thercfore, I. Gurpreet Singh , IAS, District Magistrate, Amritsar by virtue of the powers vested in me under the Disaster Management Act/Epidemic Discases Act, declare Basant AVenuearea of District Amritsar as a ContainmentZone for checking the further spread of COVID- 19.

This order shall take effect at once.
