NATIONAL SKATEBOARDING CHAMPIONSHIPS GUIDE TO RESULTS HOMOLOGATION FOR WORLD SKATEBOARDING RANKING This document aims to guide World Skate Member Federations governing Skateboarding, to apply for the inclusion of National Rankings into the World Skateboarding Ranking (WSR) valid toward the qualification to TOKIO2020 Olympic Games. The National Rankings may result from single events or circuit of events at the NF discretion. In order to maintain a certain standard and level in all National World Skate WSR homologated Championships, World Skate requires the National Federation to submit, at least 3 months before the event to be staged (according to the Olympic Qualifying Seasons dates), an application which shall include: a) Event(s) Name, dates and details; b) Exact location(s); c) Discipline (Street, Park or both); d) Detailed Event(s) Program; e) Flyer and other graphics and promotional material; f) Official website; g) Official social networks contacts; h) Skatepark/s images; Maison du Sport International | Av. De Rhodanie, 54 |1007 | Lausanne | Switzerland | Phone +41 216011877 [email protected] | [email protected] | www.worldskate.org i) Should the event(s) be staged with different age categories (e.g. Junior and Senior), establishment of which category will earn points for World Skate Ranking; The application must be sent within the limit set above to [email protected] and in cc to [email protected]. Meeting all these requirements will lead the National Federation concerned to a valuation process to be carried out by World Skate based on objective criteria, truthfulness of the information provided for in the application and equity. Within two weeks from the submission of the application, World Skate will provide the National Federation concerned with a final decision on the event provisional inclusion. Should the event be considered compliant to World Skate qualification system standards, the National Federation will receive an Acknowledgement of Application for WSR inclusion; by means of this document, the NF concerned will undertake to: 1. Comply with WADA Anti-Doping Regulations, International Standards, National Anti-Doping Regulations and any other applicable Anti-Doping rule. 2. Comply and apply World Skate International Skateboarding Technical Rulebooks during the National Championships. 3. Maintain the standards as per the ones provided for in its Application. 4. Follow World Skate general competition rules 5. Collect Data and Information from each participant (Athletes and Staff Members) and pass it to World Skate within one week by the end of the event concerned. World Skate format must be used. 6. Provide World Skate with two final rankings (Male and Female) according to the competition final results within 7 days from the end of the event. World Skate format must be used. For Ranking deriving from a series of events, please provide only the final ranking 7. Send a Video Report of the event(s) which shall also be available online. This document will describe all the obligations to be fulfilled by the National Federation concerned and will state that only after having accomplished all these tasks, World Skate will confirm, homologate and acquire the Competition results. Nations that had their National Championships between the 1 st of January 2019 and the 31st of March 2019 can apply for validation of their ranking by providing the same information and proof listed above Application for events happening between the 1 st of April and the 1st of June 2019, must be received by World Skate by the 15th of March 2019. After having signed the abovementioned Acknowledgement of Application for WRS inclusion, the National Federation will receive an official World Skate confirmation Letter for the event concerned. The homologation of results shall be subject to the following: TERMS AND CONDITIONS The event concerned will be included in the official World Skate Events Calendar (“upcoming events” section on www.worldskate.org); World Skate confirmation Letter is only meant to provide the event concerned the status of an Official Tokyo 2020 point earning Skateboarding event , officially approved by World Skate; the organization, implementation and staging of the event is entirely up to and shall be carried out by the National Federation concerned and the Event Organizer. World Skate shall not be considered as part of the organization, shall be exempted by any obligation or responsibility and shall not be anyway involved in possible disputes or law suits concerning the event. The confirmation letter shall not be considered a contract or an agreement, no tasks other than the ones provided for in the letter shall be assigned to World Skate. The confirmation letter shall not constitute either World Skate or the National Federation concerned as well as the Event Organizer the agent of the other nor create a partnership, joint venture or similar relationship between them. All consents and authorizations coming from Data Subjects for the collection and the retention as well as the transmission of personal and sensitive Data and/or Information to World Skate shall be collected – according to any applicable law - by the National Federation concerned which shall be considered as the Data Controller, while World Skate shall be considered as a third party or Data Processor as per the definitions provided for in the GDPR Regulations. .
