China Council for International Cooperation on Environment and Development (CCICED) Established in 1992, China Council for International Cooperation on Environment and Development (CCICED) is a high level non-for-profit international advisory body under the approval of the Chinese government. With China’s rapid economic and social development, CCICED has been a witness to and a part in the significant change of the country’s philosophy and mode for development, and has played a unique and important role in China's sustainable development. CCICED opens a door to usher the worldwide concepts of sustainable development into China, builds a bridge to promote exchanges and mutual understanding between China and the international community in the field of environment and development, creates a platform on which dialogues between China and other countries enables the world to have a better understanding of China and China to embrace the world.
Global Celebrations for World Environment Day 2019 World Environment Day (WED) is celebrated on the 5th of June every year. The theme of each WED celebrations is determined by UN Environment Programme (UNEP) with respect to some global concerns and the most-debated issues on the environment of the year, and one UNEP member country is to be selected as the host to the said celebrations.

4. Registration
Meeting badges and/or car passes must be shown when entering the Hangzhou International Expo Center. Therefore, you will need to register before you can enter the compound of the Hangzhou International Expo Center. From June 1 to 4, you are asked to register and pick up badges and passes at the registration desk in the lobby of the hotels you are staying at (listed below) during the following hours:
* For participants who are not staying at the hotels listed above: please pick up your meeting badge and meal coupons at the Lobby (7F) of North Star Hangzhou International Expo Center Hotel.

5.2 Meals We provide meals (lunch and dinner) for all participants to CCICED 2019 Annual General Meeting and Global Celebrations for World Environment Day.
Please show your meeting badge for meals served at the Expo Center (Lunch on June 3).
For those staying in the hotels listed above, you will need to show your hotel room card for meals served on June 1, 2, 4, 5 as well as breakfast and dinner on June 3.
For participants who are not staying at the hotels listed above: please pick up the meal coupon at the Registration (7F) in North Star Hangzhou International Expo Center, and show your meal coupons for all lunches and dinners at North Star Hotel.
6. Transportation 6.1 Access to the Conference Venue We provide green energy buses commuting between the hotel and Hangzhou International Expo Center at the call of an eco-friendly principle. Please consult with your hotel staff for the time table. Guests in North Star may go from 7F (the sky garden) to access Hangzhou International Expo Center on foot
6.2 Shuttle Service Please find Annex I for information on shuttle service for the airport and railway station picking up service.
For the departure, shuttle services will be available from June 3 to June 6. Please inform the Registration of your departing flight (train) details at least one day before your departure.
6.3 Public Transportation 1. North Star Hangzhou International Expo Center Hotel Add: No.353 Benjing Ave., Xiaoshan, Hangzhou. You may access the hotel by taking bus to the stop Hangzhou International Expo Center, or by taking the Metro line 2 to Qianjiang Century City (F).
2. New Century Grand Hotel Add: No. 818, Shixin Road, Xiaoshan District, Hangzhou. You may access the hotel by taking bus to the stop New Century Grand Hotel, or by taking the Metro line 2 to People’s Square (C2) Road (A1) / line 2 to Qianjiang Road (A2)
3. Hangzhou Blossom Hotel Add: No. 618, Shixin Road, Xiaoshan District, Hangzhou. You may access the hotel by taking bus to the stop North Bus Station, or by taking the Metro line 2 to People’s Square (C6) Road (A1) / line 2 to Qianjiang Road (A2)
7. Site Visits 7.1 Site Visit in Hangzhou (by registration) Please register for the visit at the Registration (hotel lobby) from 10:00 on June 2 to 20:00 on June 3. (1) Blossom Route (80 persons): Start from Blossom Hotel to Shangcheng District on a visit for local industrial transformation and upgrading (the Phase II of the Fund Town - the Neighborhood Center of Mantoushan - Phoenix Yuyuan Cultural Creative Park) (2) North Star Route (40 persons): Start from North Star Hotel to Binjiang District on a visit for smart city, green schools and industrial transformation and upgrading (Hikvision – White Horse Lake School of Hangzhou No. 2 Middle School - White Horse Lake) (3) New Century Route (40 persons): Start from New Century Grand Hotel to the West Lake on a visit for the ecological restoration of the lake

8. Notes * Please wear the badge at all times when attending meetings and entering the Hangzhou International Expo Center. If you lose your meeting badge, please contact the CCICED Secretariat immediately. * Please follow the program and arrive on time. * All participants for the AGM Closing Session and the Global Celebrations for WED 2019 are required to go through security and be seated at least half an hour before the session begins. * Please keep your mobile phone on silent or vibrate mode during the sessions. * To make it a green event, we do not provide any paper documents or reports for the events. You may have access to them by logging onto register.cciced.net.
ANNEX I
Shuttle Services
I. Shuttle between the three hotels1 and Hangzhou Intl. Expo Center Please consult with Registration at your hotel for the timetable.
II. Shuttle from and to airport and train stations Pick-up June 1: every 30 min from 8:00 to 23:00 June 2-4: upon request from 8:00 to 23:00 (those who arrive during 23.00 – 8.00 are kindly asked to choose other methods of transport to your hotel) Drop-off Buses to Hangzhou Xiaoshan Intl. Airport, Hangzhou East Station and Hangzhou Railway Station will be arranged based on information provided upon registration. Please register at the Registration in your hotel at least one day before departure to ensure the arrangement of shuttle services and your timely arrival at the airport/train station. * Pick-up and drop-off services for Council Members, Special Advisors, SPS Team Leaders and Special Guests will be arranged separately.
