MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIR On behalf of Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame Board of Governors, I am pleased to present the 2014 Annual Report. 2014 was a record year for Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame. Visitor numbers continued to grow with a significant increase in group 2015/16 visits, facility rentals, and school programs. Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame also received a record number of nominations in 2014 from across the country. BOARD OF GOVERNORS The Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame 2014 Induction Celebrations presented by Colin MacDonald, Canadian Tire were held in Toronto on October 22, 2014 as we inducted eight Chair new Honoured Members of Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame. During Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame’s 2015 Annual General Meeting, two new Board Governors were Brad Robertson, appointed; Sylvie Bigras, internationally renowned communications specialist and Secretary/Treasurer Michael Medline, President & CEO of Canadian Tire Corporation.
