Also the Elsinore seats are extremely close together. Workers or volunteers should be trained in how to approach individuals not wearing masks properly and announcements should be made about proper wearing and that is observed worker will ask you to wear properly. I've seen better compliance with mask wearing when this happens otherwise people will disregard until told putting other attendees at risk.

43 Recommendations...you should use this opportunity to improve the viewing experience. For 9/30/2020 5:07 PM example, better seats, more spacing between rows, repair ceiling (it's showing warer damage)

44 The sad truth is that without a vaccine, even with masks on everyone (except the 9/30/2020 5:04 PM performers?), being indoors with a crowd, for the duration of any production is quite a high risk situation. It would mean a LOT to know that the Elsinore uses a lot of HEPA filters in a massive air circulation system.

219 I have 40+ years of visiting The Elsinore Theatre. In that time, I've visited with my 10/1/2020 9:29 AM grandparents as they shared their memories of their courtship at the Elsinore after WWII. My wife, of almost twenty years, and I had some of our first dates at the Elsinore. We've now taken our kids to the Elsinore and sat in some of the same seats as their great-grandparents did some eighty years ago and sharing stories with them of their relatives who have been there before them. All of these while experiencing world-class musicians, artists, and actors and creating new memories to recreate with, hopefully, their wives, children, and grandchildren. The Elsinore Theatre is truly one of Salem's greatest treasures.

431 I've enjoyed countless events -- live music, comedy, speakers -- so it's hard to choose one 9/30/2020 8:06 PM favorite, but at the top was seeing author and humorist David Sedaris a few years ago. I always see him when he's in Portland, but it was SO nice to stay in Salem for an appearance. He always offers to sign books after his shows, and the wait in line is well over an hour. Being able to drive home in 10 minutes was far better than making the horrible commute from Portland at midnight!

539 When I was much younger, The Elsinore was a movie theater. My mom and I would drive 36 9/30/2020 6:35 PM miles to see a movie. I remember being enchanted about your theater - and I still am! 565 We LOVED the classic movie series. The silents with the "Mighty Wurlitzer" were also really 9/30/2020 6:14 PM fun! We no longer received any information about the movie series, WAY before Covid. We really missed it. The simple mailer that was just for movies was the best. The new mailer style you developed was much to jumbled, and usually didn't have the movies in it anyways. We really miss going to all the classic movies at the Elsinore, and I hope you can bring it back.
