Novelta Bestway Pharmaceuticals Ltd. (NBPL) started its journey in 2010. The company's manufacturing facility is located at Hemayetpur, Savar which is 19 kilometer away from the zero point of Dhaka city. The corporate office is located at Dhanmondi, Dhaka, Bangladesh. The company produces various types of dosage like tablets, capsules, oral liquids, ampoules, dry powder vials, powder for suspension etc. NBPL intends to be specialized in some high-tech dosage forms like sustained/delayed release tablets, melt in the mouth tablets, taste-masked pediatric formulations etc.
The main objective of NBPL is to cater the changing need of people of our country and other parts of the globe through producing very high standard of quality and innovative medicines at affordable price.
Bestway Health City (Proposed) The Millennium Development Goal (MDG) consists of 8 (eight) goals, out of which 4 (four) are related to health. With a view to eradicate extreme poverty and hunger (Goal-1) health sector is to achieve Reduce Child Mortality (Goal-4), Improve Maternal Mortality (Goal-5), Combat HIV/AIDS, Malaria and other diseases (Goal- 6) and Ensure Environmental Sustainability (Goal-7). Proposed Medical College will contribute in creation of manpower to achieve the goals. After passing MBBS course, the doctors will provide service to the people and the people will get the health care service at an affordable cost at their doorstep. Right treatment will reduce infant and maternal mortality; increase average life expectancy. Health ensured is income ensured and so ensured is national economic growth. These activities are in line with the Poverty Reduction Strategy (PRS) of the government and Millennium Development Goal (MDG). Realizing the priority and governmental patronization Bestway Group has started work on Bestway Health City (BMHC). The BMHC also avails all the required services and facilities with adequate accommodations and public attractions for students as well as staffs/workers together within the BMHC premise. The Master Plan has been designed to provide for a staged development of the site. Key performing facilities have been accommodated there with adequacy. The BMHC is located in Bhaluka Upazila under Mymensingh District. The site is only 66 km distant from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (DAC). Hospital Bestway Medical College College & Bestway, working for the underprivileged men women and children, is passionate to materialise the slogan “Health for All” within 2030. In Bangladesh, over the past decade there the situation in rural health sector did not improve as expected. In rural areas the majority of the people faced critical health problems. The incidence of communicable disease is extensive because of widespread due to malnutrition, inadequate sewage disposal, and inadequate supplies of safe drinking water. Poor access to health care, child mortality, maternity death, wrong treatment and so on are common phenomenon in Bangladesh. Only 30 percent of the population has access to primary health care services, and overall health care performance remained unacceptably low. Realising these facts and being inspired to help the people, the Bestway Group has taken up health issues. The Bestway Group has progressed much to establish a medical college and hospital. It is proposed that, to make the investment cost- effective, maintain quality of education and to provide educational facilities for more number of students the initial annual enrolment capacity of students per year will be 100 (during first phase 50 students and additional 50 will be enrolled in second phase). The passed out doctors will remain promise bound to work in Union level Health Clinics to be set up by the Bestway Group. Keeping consistency with other Medical Colleges in private sector, the affiliation of Bestway Medical College will be accorded from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU).
Bestway University (Proposed) Bestway University is being established as a new generation research-based digital University in Bangladesh having full commitment and dedication for standard, quality and excellence. The Academic building of the University has already been constructed at PBC. TheUGC has completed inspection of both curriculum/documents and on-site. The VC designate along with his Faculty and Registrar are ready to begin courses in EEE, IT, Civil Engineering, BBA, Energy and Environment, English, Law, Statistics once the Government approval is given. The 5 acre land has been formally given to the University by PBC. The proposed University will act as a torch bearer for fulfilling the long felt desire, mission and vision of the "Bestway Group of Companies ". It shall be a research-based University, a University with a difference, offering modern, practical need-based and application oriented curricula and syllabi. The University is determined to provide intellectual leadership to the society through creation of new innovative knowledge and by developing meaningful collaboration with higher education institutions both within and outside the country. The Valuka Industrial Park is growing up basically for providing the forward and backward linkage of the entire Group . Bestway Group is growing and with that development, the internal need of the Group is developing as well. For meeting those needs we have initiated a complete industrial zone at Valuka, Mymensingh. A number of industries and factories will be established in the project area. The businesses related to the five basic needs that are touched by our Group, require a number of products those we are out-sourcing from the market, but to become self-dependant and self- served we have planned to establish such industrial parks. Works are going on for ensuring all modern utilities like-Gas, Electricity, Water, Security and Road networking. The project is being developed with the assistance of award winning Architects, Planners, Environmentalists, etc. The location of the project is well connected and on high land. After the production of certain products, there will be the facilities of processing as well as preserving. There will be well managed marketing channel to distribute our products to the door of our in-house consumers through direct and indirect channels. Within a few years, the Bwstway Group will make the Valuka Industrial Park well-established for satisfying the need of all sister concerns of the Bestway Group.
