SUPPLEMENTARY REGULATIONS

JURISDICTION Held under the National Sporting Code of the ACU. ACU Hare & Hounds Enduro regulations and Southern Motorcycle Club Supplementary regulations.

ELIGIBILITY Open to Isle of Man centre club members holding ACU Licences and those with a day licence riding solo machines. Parental Consent forms will be required for riders under the age of 18 ​ years of age. One-event licences will be available if a rider does not hold a valid competition licence. Competition licence must be presented when signing on.

COVID 19 PRECAUTIONS Hand sanitiser will be available and toilet facilities will be cleaned during the event.

MACHINE ELIGIBILITY, CLASSES

EVENT DETAILS Enduro Hare and Hounds event. bikes may be used. There are no specified classes however riders may be graded on start order based on those regularly competing in SMCC club championship. There are no public roads used during the event.

TYRES Adult machines may use MX tyres.

ENTRIES Either through: a) online entry at www.southernmcc.com or ​ ​ b) Entries are limited to 60 bikes ​ Entries close Monday 13th July 6pm ​ ● Entry fees o £30 per rider ​ o £50 per 2 man team (single payment) ​ ● Club Membership (if required) £5 one event or £15 annual ● A one event ACU one event licence (if required) £15 (available at signing on)

TRANSPONDERS The event will be timed by electronic transponder riders must leave their ACU licence or bank card as a deposit during the event. Loss of transponder fee £40 payable within 7 days.

MACHINE EXAMINATION At Carnagrie on the day of the event, machine examination closes 30mins prior to start. ​ ​ ​ ​

EVENT DETAILS

A FUN Hare & Hounds 2hr Enduro event for Adult pairs 15 years+ and solo competitors.

Classes: 2 man/women (sharing 1 bike) Solo Ironman/Woman Flapper F1/F2

Special awards: Holeshot award for first rider across start line after lap 1

FLAPPER Technical Specification.

F1 4T Prototype racing machines with a C90 based chassis. Chassis modification ​ for strength and corrosion is allowed. Swingarm and suspension are open for modification. Open modifications to all other components.

F2 Pit Bike / Childs MX Machine derived. Open modifications to all other components. ​

F1/F2 Front wheel no greater than 19” in diameter and rear wheel no greater than 16” ​ diameter.

RE-FUELLING All refuelling will be carried out in the pit area.. All riders MUST have a 2kg Dry Powder fire extinguisher (ESR37). No smoking in the refuelling ​ area. Every rider is required to use an environmental mat (carpet offcut is acceptable) ​

RESULTS Results will be available during the event and immediately afterward a presentation will follow with awards for various riders.

RIDER NUMBERS Numbers must be clearly marked on the machine. It is the rider’s responsibility to ensure the machine number is legible by the time keepers.

IMPORTANT: It is imperative that all riders and attendants follow the ACU code of conduct. ​ Course cutting, abuse of officials and foul language will result in exclusion. If any competitor or attendant has any issues please approach any club official or Clerk of the Course, please do not post any issues on social media.
