Notes:

1. Change of date for the first Eastway meeting 2. Thruxton, Eastway #1, Preston and Milton Keynes are Saturdays 3. We will be enforcing Rule Number One, viz. machines must not have any sharp sticky-out bits, most notably at the front. This includes chainrings, which is another way of saying that any machine with its chainset out the front must have a chainguard, including those with a single chainring. Competitors who fail to equip their machinery thus will get a yellow card; a second yellow card will mean you will not be permitted to compete. As long as you don’t use ridiculously huge chainrings, suitable items are available from HPV-Heaven or your friendly neighbourhood HP Velotechnik dealer - Kinetics and Bikefix. 4. We will also be coming down hard on those committing the crime of Lack of Visible Numbers. You have been warned! 5. We also STRONGLY recommend that those on unfaired bikes use elbow guards, and that everyone has a rear-view mirror.

1. Loads more on the BHPC web site - far too many to list here. 2. Yes, this year there are both World and European Championships being held in Europe… Entry for the Worlds closes May 5 th, so get yer skates on… 3. At the time of writing, the classes at the Worlds are full-faired and not-fully-faired. The latter

4 basically means one can get in without moving any part of the fairing, and is proving rather unpopular with the hordes of tail-faired low racer owners that make up the majority of the entry of this event, and rightly so in my not-so-humble opinion. Otherwise one could take a machine like Dean Peterson’s Rotator Coyote (below), remove the side-screens and be in the same class as someone on an unfaired bike…

Suppliers & Wants

Advertising rates for the body of this magazine: Full page: £30.00 Half page: £15.00 Small ads for non-members: £5.00

Approximately 300 copies of each issue are printed. Entries in the “Suppliers and Wants” section are free to BHPC members, and should not be like Roy Martin and his laughably obvious syrup. Big and Shiny One? Please take out an advert at the above rates and send the money to our Treasurer, as she is the only one of us lovely enough to be permitted to handle Money. If your address, phone number, prices or products change, please tell me...
