Donkeyboy Slår Varenda Rekord
2010-01-15 11:36 CET donkeyboy slår varenda rekord Det finns ingen ände på donkeyboys makalösa framgångar i Norge. Den enda riktiga konkurrenten de har är egentligen... de själva! De låg etta på singellistan, albumlistan OCH radiolistan samtidigt - och passade såklart på att inta andraplatsen på radiolistan också när de ändå höll på. Aldrig förut har ett band legat både på första- OCH andraplatsen på norska music control- listan - men det är egentligen bara ett rekord i raden som donkeyboy tangerat. För detta band verkar det inte finnas några gränser för vad som är möjligt. När debutalbumet Caught In A Life släpptes i oktober tog det åtta - 8!! - dagar innan man passerat platina och nu har man kommit upp till hisnande 90 000 sålda exemplar. Nu är det dags för Sverige att stifta bekantskap med donkeyboy. 27 januari släpps albumet Caught In A Life i Sverige, och man har redan banat väg för en god start. Singeln Ambitions är Veckans Hitvarning på RIX och ligger som nr 15 på music control. P3 har spelat bandet redan sedan i höstas. donkeyboy har uppmärksammats av Warner Music International och ska under våren släppa albumet Caught In A Life i flera länder i Europa - och ny video till Ambitions spelas in i månadsskiftet i London. Bandet valde inte överraskande London som inspelningsplats då de mycket framgångsrikt agerade förband åt A-ha på deras avslutningsturné som bl a besökte UK. donkeyboy kreerade en rejäl buzz i brittisk media, och bland flera medier har t ex Pop Justice valt hela tre låtar från albumet till Song of the Day (Ambitions, Sometimes och Caught In A Life). -
