The work Johannes Paar in the board was proeductive and inputs of me as FAN representative were taken very seriously. Support by the EFA office, Philippe and in Built Environment particular Verena, was very helpful. Many of my ideas made it to the final program. The number of young and female speakers increased and scho- larship holders participate in the Alpbach debate. We had very constructive discussions that were dominated by Claus Raidl and Willi Hemetsberger as well as by Agnes Streissler-Führer and Jeffrey Owens depending on their Wolfgang Eichert attendance. I connected to organization leaders, professors, popular bloggers, stu- dent influentials, etc. I gave group speeches. I wrote blogs. I organized meetings and brought people together. I held many discussions and Q&A sessions. Among all the Chinese students who reached out to me: 133+ of them have submitted their applications (covering 69 uni- versities, from 9 countries/ regions, more details please see attach name list). 112+ students did not apply this year, but will keep an eye for EFA 2018.

They got introduced to EFA through my efforts. I talked to each of them. I had been trying to help and gained a good standing among them. We should note that the name list above is far from complete - those are the ones who managed to reach out to me. My influence has been reaching far beyond it. There are much more

Chinese students (6000+) got the information about EFA2017 from my spe- eches, talks, essays, links, etc., quite a few of whom got inspired and excited. Not every of them managed to talk to me and my name list misses these stu- dents out. Chinese students use different communities, like renren, tencent QQ, wechat, zhihu and weibo, instead of Facebook(banned in mainland Chi- na), WhatsApp, quora, reddit or twitter. I talked to important public-account owners, professors, foreign language teachers, institutes, liaisons, alumni etc.

As far as my activities as an EFA ambassador are concerned, several things have been done. 16 returning to EFA 17 One of the most important acts that have been done is creating a Face- book page under the title of Be a Moroccan Participant in EFA 2017. The page can be accessed from the following link: https://www.facebook.com/AlpbachMorocco I did not only rely on the page, but also on chatting on Facebook and making calls. I chatted with a university professor in Rabat who promised to tell his students about EFA 2017. Calls have been made to friends in the north and the south parts of Mo- rocco and I asked my friends to spread the word about Alpbach.
