GoDigital To Release Devon Gummersall Directed Dramedy “Low Fidelity” The Film Will Launch on Digital and Cable VOD August 6th GoDigital announced today the upcoming release of LOW FIDELITY, a relatable comedic drama about a group of old high school friends that reunite over a three-day Fourth of July celebration with their significant others in tow, for better or for worse. The latest project from actor, writer and first-time director Devon Gummersall – best known for his role as Brian Krakow on the cult hit My So Called Life – the film will be available for rental and purchase on iTunes and On Demand August 6. Appropriately described as The Big Chill meets American Pie, LOW FIDELITY is a playful and surprisingly genuine examination of the intimacy, love, heartbreak and dysfunction inherent in human relationships. Adding to its allure is the film’s stunning ensemble cast of beloved television talents, including Gale Harold (Queer as Folk), Meredith Monroe (Dawson’s Creek, Criminal Minds) and Peyton List (Mad Men, 90210). “For my feature directorial debut, I wanted to mold a story that examined the challenges of monogamy with humor, emotion, and truth,” said writer and director Devon Gummersall. “The end result is a reflection of the very talented writers and directors that I have been lucky enough to learn from along the way in my career in front of the camera.” “This is a film driven by a cherished cast and audience-beloved concept,” said GoDigital’s Marketing Manager Kailey Peterson. “We’re excited to bring this to audiences that have, without a doubt, been looking forward to the next chapter of both elements.” In anticipation of its wide release, LOW FIDELITY is currently available for pre-order on iTunes: http://bit.ly/12wmnBt.
