ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)(a) THE M5 MOTORWAY (JUNCTION 7, WORCESTERSHIRE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2017 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Highways England Company Limited has made an Order on the M5 Motorway in the County of Worcestershire, to allow parapet repair works to be carried out. The effect of the Order will be to close – i) the northbound carriageway of the M5 from its junction with the exit slip road at Junction 7, to its junction with the entry slip road at Junction 7; and ii) the southbound carriageway of the M5 from its junction with the exit slip road at Junction 7, to its junction with the entry slip road at Junction 7. The work will be carried out over one night between 21:00 hours and 06:00 hours and is expected to start on Friday 6 October 2017. The Order will come into force on Friday 29 September 2017. Vehicles being used for police, fire brigade, ambulance, winter maintenance or traffic officer purposes and vehicles being used in connection with the works will be exempt from the closures. ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)(a) THE M5 MOTORWAY (STRENSHAM SERVICES, WORCESTERSHIRE) (SLIP ROADS) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2017 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Highways England Company Limited (Company No. 9346363) has made an order on the M5 motorway in the County of Worcestershire, to allow bridge inspection works to be carried out. The effect of the Order will be to close – a) the slip road leading from the northbound carriageway of the M5 to the Motorway Service Area at Strensham; and b) the slip road leading from the southbound carriageway of the M5 to the Motorway Service Area at Strensham. The work will be carried out overnight between 21:00 hours and 06:00 hours and is expected to start on Monday 2 October 2017 and continue for 3 nights. The Order will come into force on Friday 29 September 2017. Vehicles being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes and vehicles being used in connection with the work or by a traffic officer will be exempt from the closures.
