Thursday 14 June 2:00pm: Tour and talk at Marsh’s Library, St. Patrick’s Close, Dublin 8 Admission €3 Marsh’s Library is located behind St Patrick’s Cathedral in Dublin. Buses 49, 54A pass on Patrick Street. Or use the Green Line or Broombridge Luas as it is only 10/15 minute stroll from St. Stephen’s Green

Thursday 21 June 6.00pm Launch of Old Dublin Society’s Vol. 71 No.1 (2018) of Dublin Historical Record (DHR) will take place at The Chocolate Factory & Blas Café (former Williams & Woods sweet factory), at 26 King's Inns Street, Dublin 1. Plus presentation of Old Dublin Society Medal. Light refreshments. Approach on foot from the Parnell Square side, along Parnell St. Public transport: Broombridge Luas and get off at Dominick Street stop. Just before cinema complex, turn right into King’s Inns Street, venue is on your left – opposite public carpark. Coming by bus, get off at stop closest to Rotunda Hospital and walk along Parnell Street in a westerly direction

Saturday 14 July 11:00am: Tour of Richmond Barracks and Admission €3 Richmond Barracks, , Dublin 8 is located off Bulfin Rd, corner of Emmet Road (R810), behind St. Michael’s Church. Buses: 13, 13a, 40, 68. Get off at St Michael’s Church, Emmet Road, Inchicore. Stop number 1946. Walk down the laneway at the side of the church and Richmond Barracks will be visible. By Luas: The . Drimnagh stop. Use bridge to cross the Canal – beware of steep steps up and down however. Then walk straight down St. Vincent St. West towards St Michael’s Estate, keeping Goldenbridge Graveyard on your right. The Barrack buildings will come into view on the right. Richmond Barracks is a 10 minute drive from the city centre. Drive to Emmet Road (R810), continue south towards Inchicore Village. Turn left off Emmet Rd onto Bulfin Rd at the side of St Michael’s Church. Turn immediately right, follow the road around to the Barracks. Limited free parking is available outside the barracks
