Parker Partner Family Story Coming in Fall/Winter Edition of High Hopes We will be in the heart of the college football season when the next edition of High Hopes is published. We have been working on a family story with deep and solid roots in one of the great college football programs in the country. As a teaser to get you warmed up for this coming football season, here is some football trivia to consider: Three of the coaches at Notre Dame with national OPEN DIVISION: Neal Springer, Bob McCulloch, Pene championship teams to their credit were Knute Rockne, James-Swartz, and Bill Huibregtse of team Yakimaniacs Ara Parseghian, and Lou Holtz. What do these three coaches have in common as it relates to our Parker Partners family? (Answer on page 10)

High Hopes Tournament Thank You The golf committee thanks all of those who supported the Parker High Hopes golf scramble this past June at the Apple Tree Resort. It was another great financial success, resulting in grant money for youth activities and public parks. High Hopes has a unique mix of serious players, average players and a youth division supported by those who don’t even play golf. FALLER DIVISION: Doug Hearon, Ward Jackson, Jeff It is our long-term plan to move the youth division to Louman, and Lane Phillips of team HLA 4-Baggers Friday and host a full adult field on Saturday. But, we need your help. Please begin to ask your golfing friends, this summer, if they are interested in participating with us next June. We will have our golf brochure available by the end of the fall to assist in spreading the word about our 2014 High Hopes event. We hope this allows many of our current golf participants to assist us in finding new participants. We are open to any ideas concerning format or in any way producing a better product for you the golfer. If you have any ideas contact the office and we will BRAYTON DIVISION: Ray Gallipo, Dave Connell, address your suggestions . We are currently considering Dale Sunitsch, and Doug Gray of team Ike ‘64 a format addition and are busy contacting many of you for your response. It is our desire to continue to earn your support and the Putz Golf recognition of two years ago as best non-profit golf event in the Pacific Northwest. Congratulations to Kevin Anderson, our Apple Tree Resort host, promoted to the position of head golf pro. Thank you all for your continued support and dedication to High Hopes golf.
