S11 WPCS Gelding Incentive Scheme – Millcroft Stud Rosettes – To be judged prior to Cwpan Eifion, immediately after the Section D Championship (S8). Overall gelding champion and reserve to be competed for by the highest placed geldings from each appropriate class within Sections A, B, C and D (classes 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, 21, 27 and 28), generously sponsored by the Millcroft Stud. Both champion and reserve will qualify for the National Welsh Millcroft Gelding Championships.

S12 Cwpan Eifion – Welsh Sections Champion of Champions Champion prize winners only from Sections A-D (S2, S6 S8 and S10) to compete for the title. In the absence of the Champion, the Reserve may stand forward. Cwpan Eifion Perpetual Cup in memory of R Eifion Jones, Dwylan Stud kindly presented by his friends to be presented to the winner. GENERAL RULES 1. It is the exhibitors responsibility to have their horse’s passports available to hand should they need to be inspected by DEFRA officials. 2. The Llannerch-y-medd Horse and Dog Show Committee or any person on their behalf accept no liability for any loss or damage, accident, injury or illness to horses, riders, spectators or to any person or property whatsoever. 3. All objections must be made within 15 minutes of the class ending, together with a deposit of £20, which will be forfeited if the objection is over ruled. 4. It is the exhibitors’ responsibility to ensure that they are in the ring at the right time and should not expect the judges to hold up the class for them. 5. Entry fees will not be refunded. 6. The judge’s decision is final in all classes. 7. All cups/trophies to remain the property of the show unless otherwise stated and the winner of each cup/trophy shall be responsible for its return to the cup steward at least six weeks before the next show. A £10 deposit is required per trophy taken from the showground. This will be refunded in full when the trophy is returned to the cup steward by 1st May the following year. 8. Engraving shall be the responsibility of the cup winner. 9. HARD HATS to be worn AT ALL TIMES when riding on the show field – must be up to current standard. Adults are expected to set an example to younger riders. 10. In the interest of safety all colts and stallions two years old or over must be suitably bitted and led by a handler who has reached the age of 14 or over before January 1st of the current year. 11. All competitors under 14 years of age MUST wear a hard hat when handling horses / ponies. 12. Rider/pony combinations competing in lead rein classes cannot compete off the lead in other classes. 13. WILL EXHIBITORS PLEASE REFRAIN FROM LEAVING DROPPINGS AND DIRTY STRAW FROM THEIR HORSE-BOXES ON THE SHOW-GROUND.
