SEPTA AIRPORT RAIL LINE SHUTTLE BUS SUBSTITUTION Saturday, July 20 – Sunday, August 4

SEPTA’s Airport Rail Line will be using shuttle bus service beginning Saturday, July 20 through Sunday, August 4 between International Airport and due to the Southwest Connection Improvement Project work taking place in the area of University City Station.

At the Airport, buses will pick up customers outside the baggage claim doors on the Commercial Road between the bag claim and the SEPTA train platform at Terminals A, B, C, D and E – please follow the SEPTA shuttle signs posted in the terminals. Passengers arriving in Terminal F can access the shuttle at Terminal E. These locations will have posted signs with the message “AIRPORT LINE TEMPORARY SHUTTLE BUS STOP.” Passengers will be dropped off on the Departures Road.

Shuttle buses will operate beginning July 20 between 30th Street and the Airport starting at 4:36 AM and from the Airport to 30th Street beginning at 5:22 AM. Shuttle buses will not stop at University City station. Too access the University City station area take the Media/Elwyn Line shuttle boarding at 30th Street on JFK Boulevard.

SEPTA Key Quick Trips, purchased from the fare kiosks on the train platforms prior to boarding, will be accepted for travel from the Airport on the shuttle buses. Conductors will be available at each boarding location to accept and validate the purchase. If using a SEPTA Pass, remember that a Zone 1 or Higher TrailPass (paper or loaded on a SEPTA Key Card) is required for weekday travel. TransPasses are accepted only on the Airport Line on weekends.
