Acrobats Tumble Through LB Tony Brown Photo Editor On Saturday, April 2, the Chinese acrobats from Dragon Show Culture and Arts company of Beijing, China, performed in the activity center to a large audience of adults and children. The show was part of the Children’s Performing Arts Series pre- sented by the Albany Parks and Recreation Department. “The old saying ‘practice makes perfect’ is what it takes,” said Alex Chen, the theme trip manager. The performers start at an early age of seven or eight, train for 10 years, and spend five or six years performing. The acrobats perform for elementary and middle schools all over the United States.
