He's worked extensively in theatre and the film industry. He won the Fleur du Cap Theatre Award for Best New Director in 2007. Pieter Jacobs (Playwright) works as an arts administrator with the Arts and Culture Trust. He was an actor and played the role of rent boy, Chris, in Happy Endings Are Extra which visited Dublin in 2006. Dalliances is his second play.
