Social Impact Consulting - Global Impact Fellowship in , Internship Details Internship Dates: June 1 – July 24 Internship Description: Students will be placed in teams of 2-3 to assist an NGO or social enterprise for 8 weeks. Fellows will complete a high-level strategy, research, or implementation project to help organizations achieve their objectives more effectively. This opportunity combines leadership training, personal coaching and mentoring, and team-led social impact projects. You will also attend workshops that expose you to the social, cultural, and economic , including seminars on topics such as Informal Economies and Women’s Empowerment. Additional workshops offer a glimpse into social impact professions such impact investing, environmental sustainability, and corporate social responsibility. Sample internship projects include development and implementation of marketing strategies, impact assessments, income-generating activities, and human resource restructuring for NGOs or social enterprises. Mentoring: Project teams will be partnered with a mentor from a leading for-profit enterprise or management consulting firm. The mentors will help guide the design and development of key deliverables and provide fellows with an introduction to consulting frameworks as well as access to local knowledge and experience.

Group Coaching: Fellows will attend Group Coaching Workshops with local, professional, executive-level coaches who will help the fellows develop an action plan to determine their post-graduation career goals. Additionally, professionals from leading development consulting firms, impact investment hubs, micro-finance institutions, social enterprises, NGOs, and international bodies will discuss the work they do and make recommendations on how to enter/apply for those markets.

Reflection: Fellows will engage in multiple reflection sessions to deepen their experiences and key lessons learned during the fellowship. Each participant will be provided with a journal and will be encouraged to journal daily. You will also be required to write two reflection papers, during the midpoint and completion of the program.

Living in Peru Location: Lima, Peru Overview: You will live in Miraflores which is a residential and upscale shopping district south of downtown Lima. It is also one of the most affluent districts in Lima. Accommodations: You will have a shared room in a hostel with other Global Impact Fellows.
