4. AWARDS AND DISTINCTIONS . In September 2010 my Doctoral dissertation entitled “Advanced elastoplastic simulation of staged construction and impoundment of tall concrete face rockfill dams” was assessed with 9.28, taking the scholarship research program HERAKLEITOS II of the Ministry of Education, Lifelong Learning and Religious Affairs, which is co-financed by the NSRF (National Strategic Reference Framework) 2007-2013 and the ESF (European Social Fund). . In June 2007 my diploma thesis entitled “High metal structure research with steel-concrete composite slabs“, which was worked out in the Μetal Structures Laboratory of the Department of Civil Engineering of Democritus University of Thrace, in 2006, was distinguished with the first prize in Pan-Hellenic Competition of diploma thesis and master thesis of undergraduates who study in Greek Universities or Polytechnics. The holding of the Competition took place in Athens and in charge of the Competition was the ROBOBAT CONSTRUCTIVE SPIRIT Company in collaboration with its representative in Greece, Chrysanthos Maraveas.

WORK EXPERIENCE . 20-09-2016 until now: Technical Consultant for the completion of operations for the Programming Period 2007-2013 at the Special Managing Authority of the Region of Thessaly. . 01-09-2015 until 31-12-2015: Technical Consultant at the Intermediate Managing Authority of the Region of Thessaly, Unit C (Unit of field audit) in preventive and spot checks’

issues. Support refers to public works’ preventive checks on part-financed by the EU (Tender documentation, Summary/Recapitulative Table of Works, Renewals, Amendments of studies, etc.) and spot verifications under NSRF control management system. . 09-01-2014 until 09/04/2015: Technical Consultant at the Intermediate Managing Authority of the Region of Thessaly for Accelerating the Implementation of the NSRF/THESSALY. Support refers to preventive checks on approved projects (Tender documentation, Summary/Recapitulative Table of Works, Renewals, Amendments of studies, etc.), project maturity control to integration, horizontal support and speed issues of the program through monitoring and acceleration of works belonging to it. . 09-03-2012 until 08-09-2013: Technical Consultant at the Intermediate Managing Authority of the Region of Thessaly for the Peripheral Units, which are an important beneficiary of Thessaly NSRF projects in implementation, monitoring and project management under the NSRF Project Management System. Specifically in declarations and tender documentation checks on the legality and compatibility, in accordance with the national and Community law governing the public procurement, in Summary/Recapitulative Table of Works checks and Renewals. . 01-05-2010 until 31-01-2011: I worked in the Technical Construction Company LATOMIKI S.A., which was engaged in the construction of Public Works. The objective of this work was the preparation of the Measurements, the Bills of Quantities, the Summary/Recapitulative Table of Works, the Receipt Protocols of Inconspicuous Work, etc., as well as their process with the responsible Supervising Services such as the Technical Services of Municipalities and Communities of the Prefecture of Larissa and Magnesia, the Technical Services of the Prefecture of Fthiotida and the collaboration with the Supervising Εngineers to address technical difficulties and to ensure the fair and proper conduct of the works’ operations. Projects in which I worked were: RESTORATION OF UNCONTROLLED WASTE DISPOSAL SITES OF PREFECTURE OF LARISSA, RESTORATION OF UNCONTROLLED WASTE DISPOSAL SITES OF PREFECTURE OF MAGNESIA, LAMIA’S SCHOOL COMPLEX (MIDDLE- HIGH SCHOOL). . In May 2010 and in May 2011, I was commissioned by the Union of Agricultural Cooperatives of Larissa for the preparation of the crop declarations and their digitization in the agrarian region of Terpsithea of the Municipality of Larissa. . 10-12-2008 until 09-12-2009: In the Urban Planning Department of the Prefecture of Larissa, as a salaried contract for carrying out the checks on the illegal constructions in the Prefecture of Larissa, which were both related to the completeness of the dossiers documents (1500 files) and in situ recording them after autopsy and drafting an autopsy report which includes the calculation of the penalties foreseen in order to be electrified (Article 9 par. 6 of Law 3212/2003).

. 01-10-2008 until 04-07-2011: As a Laboratory Associate at the Technological Educational Institute of Thessaly, Department of Infrastructure Engineering with a fixed-term and hourly contract in the courses of Electronic Drawing, Technical Drawing, Autocad 2006 and Road Engineering-I. . 25-10-2007 until 24-10-2008: In the Urban Planning Department of the Prefecture of Larissa, as a salaried contract for carrying out the checks on the illegal constructions in the Prefecture of Larissa, which were both related to the completeness of the dossiers documents (2000 files) and in situ recording them after autopsy and drafting an autopsy report which includes the calculation of the penalties foreseen in order to be electrified (Article 9 par. 6 of Law 3212/2003). . 15-06-2006 until 24-10-2007: I worked in the Technical Construction Company ATLAS- Β. & Ν. LIAPOPOULOS, which was engaged in Public Works Construction. Besides, I was involved with the completion of all the forthcoming Building Permits of the private works that the Construction Company was responsible with the Urban Planning Services. . From 15-06-2006 I am holder of the No.1599/15-06-2006 Professional license to practice Civil Engineering, member of the Technical Chamber of Greece by R.N. 108745 and I’m dealing with the issue of building permits, the construction and the supervision of the private projects. Also from 23/11/2009 I am holder of the Certificate of Registry Office Experience Manufacturers with a grade A (No 34462) for project categories or specialized works on Road, Building, Hydraulic, Port and Industrial-Energy Engineering.
