DAILY MENU OF MDM:
As per Government of India directions cooked meal is provided with a minimum content of 450 calories and 12 grams of protein on each working day of the school to children studying in classes I to V and 700 calories and 20 grams of protein content is provided per child on each working day of the school for classes VI to VIII. Foolproof arrangements were made to ensure this by the State Government throughout the academic year 2019-20.

• Ingredients like oil and salt should be stored in proper containers.
• The condition of vegetables especially leafy vegetables should be Hygienic.
• Ensure that children wash their hands with soap before and after eating.
• Provide Pure and clean Drinking Water to the students.
• The cook cum helper must wash their hands with soap properly before cooking.
• First aid kit with proper medicines should be maintained in school.
• Use clean plates and glasses only.
• The premises of the schools should be kept clean.
• Priority should be given for cleanliness.
• Menu and MDM Logo should be paint on prominent place of School premises
• Rice Stock Register Should be maintained
• Teachers and Parents Food Tasting Register should be maintained

II. SAMAGRA SHIKSHA
UNIFORMS
• 2 Pairs of Uniforms were distributed for the academic year 2019-20.
• Uniforms cloths were distributed from Mandal points to schools through SMCs. Two pairs of uniforms are being stitched to children studying in I to VIII class and amount is Rs. 40,40,820 /- have been released to schools for the academic year 2019-20.
INCLUSIVE-EDUCATION
• Conducting 4 Physiotherapy Camps in every Mandal in month.
• Divisional level camps are conducted with the help of ALIMCO students and proposals are prepared to supply helping appliances to the needy students. • 126 children provided with Escort allowance Rs.250/-per month for 10 months • 126 children provided with transport allowance Rs.250/-per month for 10 months • 116 CwSN are benefitted through Home Based Education. • 29 IERP’s are engaged to provide Inclusive Education.
• 219 Children are enrolled in Bhavitha centers to provide School Readiness Programme. • Supplied HBE material to 29 Bhavitha Center / IERCs • World Disability Day celebrated in 20 Mandals on 3rd Dec’2019 Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya
Introduction: -
Government of India have taken the initiation of “Kasturba Gandhi Balika
Vidyalaya” for setting up Residential schools with boarding facilities at elementary level for girls belonging predominantly to SC, ST, OBC and Minorities in difficult areas.
The scheme is being coordinated with the existing schemes of Department of Elementary Education and Literacy namely Samagra Shiksha Abhiyaan (SSA)
Objectives: To ensure access and quality education to the girls of disadvantaged groups of society by setting up Residential schools with boarding facilities at elementary level.
Scope and coverage of the scheme:
• The norms for the programme is to identify educationally backward blocks as per census data of 2011 i.e., less than 46.13% Female Literacy Rate and Gender gap more than 21.59% • Government of Telangana has sanctioned 20 KGBV Residential Schools in Nagarkurnool District.
State Initiatives:
• Construction of buildings
• Sensitization and training for teachers and staff
• Community awareness programmes to motivate and prepare the girls and their families to send them to Residential Schools.

• URBAN RESIDENTIAL SCHOOL (URS): An Urban Residential School, Nagarkurnool with the capacity of 120 (street/deprived) male children was started at the premises of Nagarkurnool Mandal in the academic year 2019-20. This year (118) children took shelter.
GRANTS
School Grant: an amount of Rs 1,92,75,000/- (Rupees One Crore Ninty Two lakhs and Seventy-Five thousand only) released to 825Govt Schools towards releasing of School grant for conduct of school activities (repairs, consumable articles, computer stationary, purchase of books, drinking & electricity charges etc)
SCHOOL ANNUAL GRANTS: -
• During the year 2017-2018 the Commissioner & Director of School Education &Ex- Officio, Project Director RMSA, TS, Hyderabad had directly released the school annual grant to all the High Schools in the District @ Rs.50,000=00 per school.

Girls Hostels in Model Schools:
• The Government has decided to establish a Girls Hostel attaching to each Model School in the district.
• The following (2) Girls Hostels are functioning with 100 Girl students in each hostel.
Model School – Kodair
Model School – Veldanda.
And the remaining Hostel buildings were under construction Midday Meals Scheme Implemented in
all model schools’ utensils has been purchased in all Model schools.
• Required Furniture has been purchased for students and staff members of Modal schools.
• Available of NT Books has been supplied to the Model Schools from the District Test Book Depot.
