GALLIPOLI 2015 COMMEMORATIONS On 25 April 2015, we will commemorate the centenary of the ANZAC landings on the Gallipoli Peninsula in Turkey. Breanna Goodear has been selected to represent our community at the commemorations in Turkey in 2015. What followed in 1915 was a bitter eight-month campaign that helped to forge our young nation. Last Friday the Primary Choir gave a wonderful performance at the formal assembly. The choir Kindergarten class: Tahlia Dewson prepared an acoustic cover of Katy Perry’s song 1/2 class: Alistair Fairfull ‘Roar’. Candidates are required to prepare a speech and present it to the Primary students. The speech should outline the reasons why the candidate should be school captain/prefect. It should be persuasive, engaging and target the student audience. Students will have a maximum of three minutes for their speeches and may use technology to support their presentation.
