A NOTE FROM WCU PRESIDENT PHYLLIS CRAMER

Merry Christmas!

Maestro Brusubardis has compiled a repertoire of traditional and familiar songs of the season to inspire you and lift your spirits. These pieces have worldwide appeal as they have been passed down through the generations and sung throughout the world. As much as we enjoy harmonizing as a group, it gives us even greater pleasure to share our voices with you. Your participation, as an audience, brings the wondrous experience full circle.

We invite you to join us [even on stage] again on March 29 when we present Handel’s Messiah in memory and tribute to Fred and Joanne Portz, former members and community philanthropists. In May, we are looking forward to presenting familiar choruses from stage and screen. You won’t want to miss it! And… if you wish to sing with us, auditions will be held in the third week of January.

We are always grateful for the gifts given by our sponsors, donors, advertisers and volunteers who keep our organization viable. Thank you for your ongoing support.

Warmest wishes to you, your families, and friends for a joyous holiday and prosperous New Year!

Phyllis Cramer President, Waukesha Choral Union

Donating to the United Performing Arts Fund (UPAF) is one step away from joining the performance. Community support keeps the stage lights on, provides arts education opportunities to 50,000 children in Waukesha County schools, and helps our regional economy flourish. With no government funding, UPAF – the single largest funder for 15 of our area’s largest performing arts groups – relies on the generosity of individuals and organizations in Southeastern Wisconsin to raise essential operating funds to sustain entertainment excellence for all to enjoy.
