Written and photo by Eileen Capson IDAHO CITY -- The Idaho City Hall was once the old school house. This historic building is receiving some love and attention, thanks to American Heritage Painting Contractors. Nancy Ling, City Clerk, says the project is being paid from the additional money earned by the Idaho City Police Department during the Pioneer Fire. Projects include longtime maintenance issues, providing proper insulation and "trying for some more energy efficient ways of running the building." More Idaho City, City Hall Photo by Eileen Capson improvements are still needed, including insulation under the building. The old bell tower is also being attended to and an official bell ringing by the mayor is in the planning stages, to signify the completion of all the restorations. Benefit for Jackie & Bob
