Although many of us have become more accustomed to online meetings, this is not something that has been considered previously within our Constitution. It has not been ruled out, but neither has it been ruled in. In the continuing uncertainty of these times, we have concluded that this format offers the best option, at present, to ensure the safety of our members; to remain in step with possible government guidance on gatherings; and to guarantee - as far as is possible - that the AGM may be held at all, in order to conduct the business that we are required to within our governance, and to allow presentation of the Annual Report to take place.
