Seto, che ai recenti Campionati del Mondo di luglio a Gwangju ha vinto i 200 e 400 misti, risulta il primo nuotatore giapponese ad aderire all’ISL e anche il primo asiatico. Saranno in gara nell’intero circuito ISL oltre 100 atleti che hanno preso parte ai Giochi Olimpici, tra cui 41 medaglie d’oro Di Rio 2016. Seto è il primo nuotatore giapponese a aderire all’ISL e anche il primo atleta dall’Asia. Seto, 25 anni, è reduce da una prestazione straordinaria ai Campionati del Mondo di luglio a Gwangju, in Corea del Sud, dove ha vinto nei 200 e nei 400 misti maschili. Per il medagliato olimpico con un bronzo nel 2016, quella nei 400 misti è stato il suo terzo podio più importante.
